God I know exactly how you feel. I spent 6 months looking for a job, got interviewed occasionaloly but always rejected, and after a while you stat to think there is something wrong with you. I was really really down about it too. Cos I had nothing better to do, and for some experiece, I volunteered at Chetham's Library and it was the best thing I could have done. Did wonders for my morale, met some lovely people, learned a lot and got some really great expeience. Swear my luck turned completely after that.

Don't worry, your luck will change.

Just going back and reading some of the older posts!! Hope everyone is OK!! Life can be such a bitch.

Thanks a lot for the support. Ah well I've applied for Waterstones online and about to apply to Borders Monday. Fingers crossed I guess.

im so fucking tired of this fucking rain. I work outside every bloody day riding in the pissing rain and it is ruining everything. NOT that we are soaked everytime we get home but we cant do fun canters and stuff because it's so bloody slippery everywhere.

im so fed up with it.

And I have a long rant I could give you about my hypocritical boss, but I will spare you that. Suffice it to say I took two days off work last week cos of debilitating back pain and she wasn't happy. Then later she said I seemed subduded and down last week and that it affects her negitively and if I'm really down or unwell I should just stay home. WTF????

And I too am sick of this weather.

I've just spent 5 days in a fucking tent in a fucking field with this fucking rain. The rather excellent real ale and great music made up for it though.

I was out riding for 4 hours in the fucking rain.

Im so fucking lonley on top of it. everyone are knobs.... really. I just want to go home, back to sweden, see my mates have a life again. this is just such a waste of time I feel.

Went to The Ashes at Headingley on Saturday, fell asleep on the wrong train home, wanted the Manchester train from Leeds, but unknowingly got on the London train, awoke at Grantham, Lincs, was told to stay on til Nottingham, got off there, couldn't get a train home, stayed over in an overpriced flea pit, didn't have my sleeping tablets, hence no sleep, had a room next door that had paper thin walls and for 8 hours it was sex, argument, sex, argument, sex, argument, oh, and the room was above a taxi queue !! anyway got home at 1pm yesterday, tired and skint !!

Cricket - sun - lager - Jack Daniels - no food..........37 years old and I just don't learn !!

At least the rest of your day was more entertaining than the cricket.

Sort of mate, yeah !! They shut the bar for 2 hours in the afternoon but my mate blagged it into the members area and this enabled our liquid refreshment to be maintained during the anticipated 'dry spell'..........in hindsight, a bad move.

As for the night in Nottingham, as Morrissey once stated, "I can laugh abot it now, but at the time it was terrible...."

Although on the plus side I did manage to free 8gig of hard drive space I didn't even know I had when attempting to install it...

It's weird, people generally have nothing but hate for Vista, but I can honestly say I have never had a single issue with it. I would even go as far as to say I like it.

It's my own fault for buying a cheap laptop from Tesco online

I felt like a lonely old loser today, when I noticed, that a single bed in a tent-for-two in the huge "Tropical Island"-Resort near Berlin costs twice as much as if I would rent it with a partner
Why are friggin' single rooms always that expensive!!?? Singles earn not more money than couples!!

And to make it worse, I would have gone there anyway but just to the time when I wanted to go there they refurbish the "South Sea"
