| Crikey! Knew this was going to be a 'big' one for the band and for Manchester but didn't realise the demand for tix would be quite so high. Was easier to get them for Bruce Springsteen & E-Street Band indoors at Earls Court ... and that was the first time he'd toured with the band in about 15 years!!
Are Elbow entering the 'stratospheric' phase?

| I must admit, the nerves before I got them were only comparable to Oasis at Maine Road and anytime Morrissey tickets go on sale, the sweats started at 7am.......works mental but you just have to get your priorities right !! | |

Are Elbow entering the 'stratospheric' phase? Suspect too many people missed out on Bridgewater and don't want to miss this one. Plus touts seeing the £££ signs

Touts are going to be minted after this one ... just wish there was a fairer way round these things.

| I'm not suprised about the tix being on eBay, it always happens.
The limit of 4 is a sensible one to try and reduce touting. You could always have had a ticketmaster window and a Seetickets window open together to get more.

| I did. The Ticketmaster wasn't working. Ticketline didn't work. XFM didn't work, MEN didn't work, Seetickets didn't work. I ws close to tears and then, from out of the blue, the gigsandtours site opened. I thoght I was going to die! | |

| Howling Bells are supporting them, their debut album is absolutely fantastic. A great choice by Garvey and the lads.
Still determined to go down to the Bridgwater with a £100 burning a hole in my Levi's but NO MORE.

| No. Pretty powerful PC actually. I was at work though. I don't know. I don't know why it was so hard. Maybe I did something wrong? I had two browsers open - Explorer and Mozilla -and I had Seetickets and another one (gigsand thours I think) opned on Explorer, and XFM anda MEN on Mozilla, adn even before 9 the sites were busy. Then I'd get into one and get almost through and it would crash. Then I tried Ticketline - same thing, almost made it and then nothing - same with ticketmaster. I swear I was almost in tears! The, when I had just about given up, gigsandtours opened. I still feel sick and shakey. Believe me if I could have gottenmore I would have. I'm lucky I got the ones I did. | |

Thanks for that! I've just got a seated pair in the upper tier after trying like mad for close standing ones for aaaaaaaages through gigsandtours. And i was on at 9am! I got to the card details page a few of times and it kept telling me to bugger off at the last second I should have checked in here and tried ticketmaster... Oh well, at least i have some now! I can't wait!!!! Damn those f*ckers who've ebay'd the good ones already

| It's gonna be the 9th time in total for me, 4th since the release of TSSK. I can't recall ever getting this excited for a gig at the MEN Arena, it will be an absolute blockbuster, I'm convinced of it. Getting goosebumps thinking about Tower Crane Driver being played in there...... | |

Don't start me off, I'll be wishing the summer away at this rate! Think of it like it's the last time we'll see them live for a while (a year?) so it's something to savour and not to rush.
