| Their Facebook post says it's the first single, too - confirms that "Fly Boy Blue / Lunette" was just a pre-order giveaway | |

| What would you gents consider 'morning' exactly? What time frame?
(I live in the US so I will have to listen some time later and don't want to miss it...)

(I live in the US so I will have to listen some time later and don't want to miss it...) stuff like that tend to go out around 8:15am GMT

| well that was good!!!!
any song that includes "oh my giddy aunt..." in it gets a thumbs up from me... think its bridges the gap from my elbow to the "one day" elbow a bit more than fly boy blue... a more contemporary elbow with some wonderful lyrics from guy...

| Maybe it's the fact that it's nearly 4am where I live, but my first reaction was that bits sounded like Gabriel. Not really sure what to make of it, it feels like a grower and will require more listens.
Edit: just realized that it's a radio edit with the track actually clocking at 5:26. Now it's a test of patience for the full thing when it releases next week.

| Was desperately trying to listen through a crowded office - on first listen it didn't do much for me, but need a proper listen at home in peace - yep, got the 'giddy aunt' line ; superb. | |

| Didn't quite grab me that much on first listen but think it'll be a grower, and I'm probably still just too hooked up on Lunette. x) | |

| Yeah, I'm liking that after a couple of listens. I prefer Lunette of the three tracks we've heard.
Listened to it three times now. Each time I've walked away from it and done some work I've come back with Hotel Istanbul stuck in my head

| Very catchy and sort of 80s'/early 90s' pop influenced I feel. Really upbeat too, celebratory. Good stuff. Will improve on repeat listens I am sure, and I am sure the full-length version is even better.
The track lengths for this album are typically elbow-long aren't they? Their music does need space and tends to breathe a lot more than some though.

| Loved the new song, Guy sounded at times very much like Peter Gabriel, I know Peter is a big influence and friend of the group... | |

| ...ironically my mother in law, wife and daughter are all going to New York for a girls trip in April, - which is actually weird in a way as elbow albums always seem to co-incide uncannily with our lifes over the years.... me, the boy and the dog won't get to experience the new york morning's though | |

| As I have no way whatsoever to download the official single (SIGH) I wanted to ask:
Is the official release much longer than the radio mix was? "Neat Little Rows" had a whole middle section that didn't appear on the radio mix -- is there something like that?

| I have d/led it but not listened to it yet - at work! - but I think it definitely has a whole section not on the radio edit. The radio edit was 3.16 and this download is the album version I believe at 5.20. | |

| Listened to it just now - not an extra section, just more chorus repetition (a good chorus so not a bad thing) and I think a longer intro/more instrumentation throughout. A great song. | |
