Found out about the forum from the Yahoo group. Thank you to MagicalTrevor for this up for us. Elbow are relatively unknown here in the states, so its great to have a place to see people chatting about them!

Of course I am, it's in The Ambassador Theatre - a good venue, not as nice as the lovely Vicar St that Elbow played the last two times, but still i'll be there!

Hi I will introduce my self in the correct place, Hello to you all! Nice to find the forum and be able to have a chat about Elbow related stuff, Im going to see the band for the first time in October in Manc so looking forward to that a lot,
My little bit of synchronicity or whatever to share with you. I was going in to work one morning a few weeks back, my i pod was on shuffle and as I came through the exit at Piccadilly on to the approach, Station approach came on a perfect moment.

Hi there everyone, my name's Paul, a longtime Elbow fan from Australia. I am a refugee of sorts from the old Powderblue fansite which for some reason I have not been able to access for quite a while or which has gone up in smoke entirely. Probably won't post too much, but it's nice to know there's another place to go for news, rarities and such.

There was no move...still the same old same old and in the same place as ever, it ever was since 2003, just that the rest of the website... and our leader were lost unfortunately, so we just seem to continue ourselves... not in competition as to who is best forum, just affection and loyalty to that old Powderblue feeling.

Some of us are on both forums...some just on one, some also on the yahooelbowfans mailing list, facebookfans, myspace and imeem etc, etc too! ...doesn't seem to get much repetition between the forums.

As far as i'm concerned, it's Elbow room only. (see the pun there? I'm quite proud of that)

Seriously though, there is no competition as far as I am concerned...the more people that talk about this wonderful band in as many places as possibe, the better.

However, technically and aesthetically speaking, I think that this place is the best. But then I would, wouldn't I?

I only said that to put in the pun , but seriously, I agree that aesthetically, this is the best site. I rarely visit Powder Blue, but i occasionally go on the mysoace site. I also think the community here is fantastic.
And yes Huh, there are people here, great eh? lol.

In all seriousness, you ALL should be proud of the community feel that has been built in a considerably short period of time!!!!!

It seems that Elbow attracts sensible and friendly people.

If you go on pretty much any other forum, it'll be full of spam and penis jokes.

I think we a getting vaguely off topic now...
