| A blast from the past
Dark Side of the Moon - Pink Floyd
Haven't listened to it in ages and just needed to be taken back to a less complicated time in my life. God! it's good.

I always forget how good it is, mainly due to that big OVERRATED sticker it carries nowdays. Shame Rocking another random here, just had A Sense of Home from Peter Gabriel's Long Walk Home soundtrack, now got Concrete Jungle by Bob Marley, next is Maximo Park doing Graffiti live

| I second the Dark Side of the Moon sentiments...
Another blast from the past for me at the moment - Big Science by Laurie Anderson. Amazing.

| Watching last night's Later Live.
Really enjoyed the new Fratellis stuff. Which surprised me.
Absolutely adore Spiritualized, so that was good.
Robert Plant and Allison Krauss now. I love their record, they're awesome together, and have not disappointed.

A bit of a backlash from the Radiohead OK Computer generation? What goes around comes around and that sticker will disappear in time (I hope )

Coincidentally (sort of), Them Heavy People came up on random earlier this morning. Am now listening to Garmarna, a wonderful Swedish folk-rock band.

| I'm doing the random iTunes thing, which is always a bad idea when you're a bootlegger and half the files in your Music folder are Britney Spears acapellas, various samples from drum machines, and other bootlegs you've downloaded that turn out to be horrendously off-key. So I went back to Dunproofin's Black Friday mix again | |

| listening to Fleet Foxes' album now. Quite enjoying it... it's a bit folky, a little bit Beach Boys and it even reminds me of The Coral, which is a bit strange. Could be a grower. | |

"...though"? Purely for them as don't appreciate that folk can be grand stuff (and, like every genre, it can be utterly appalling in places too.) There's some blinding stuff on Black Water. Beautifully played, beautiful songs. Currently listening to The Dandy Warhols Odditorium album.
