| Sorry to hear that Hotblack...
My day has been mental, but great fun, as an end to our "Chinese Art Week" at work each class made a dragon and decorated a bike so we danced around the playground dress as dragons and raced the bikes and generally had a lot of fun!

| I love Fall in Upstate New York. The weather has been just about perfect and the leaves are changing beautifully. My front yard, taken from the front porch this morning. And the back/side yard, taken from my bathroom window. I'm thinking it's going to be a good day. | |

| Aw thanks, Jones. I took some more later this morning when the sun was out full force. This shows all of the gorgeous foliage to it's fullest. Here's my house, taken from the road. And a couple more from the yard. I took this one of some cows and pretty scenery while running errands. It's a very cozy day here. Gorgeous, brisk, sunny, clear weather outside, and I'm cooking a nice big stew, which makes the house smell lovely. Nice. | |

| It most certainly is my dream house. And it's all me. I picked the land, I drew up the floor plans, and I picked everything from the siding to the outlet guards to the floors to the shingles to the paint colors, etc. It's my favourite place to be. Hey, yeah Jones, let's have an Elbow fan get together/kick ass party here. It's an excellent party house. Maybe Elbow will come across the pond once again to play in NYC(they're due anyway!), we can all hop the train into the city to see them, then they can come back with us for our little get together. Ah, such reveries... | |

| We'll come too! Today was aces! We went to visit the pigs today! The pigs are 105 identical sculptures each one however designed and decorated by local artists and schools. They were sprinkled throughout the city and were great! They have taken them down, but for two days only they were all gathered together in the park... they looked great! | |

| Those are cool.
We actually have something similar here, except they're dogs. My friend's mom painted one. I believe they still are lining the streets in the city of Hudson, which is just a few miles from me.

| I am loving the pigs! They are deadly! We had something similar here in Dublin, only they were cows and they were decorated by artists. There were some very funky ones. I must see if I can find a few pics of them. I am having a really good day today because my boss called in sick so it's nice and quiet here! | |

| I've discovered this thread from a while back - I've had a really productive day. At long last I've excavated the floor of my downstairs loo - demolishing floor tiles and digging down to the sub-soil. It's perfect for fresh concrete now. I've never concreted a floor before, so that should prove interesting. Any tips from anyone? (Apart from - call a builder you daft bint!) | |

| Gosh Ticky, you have been busy.
I've been nursing a hangover today after my 40th birthday celebrations last night. Therefore today was a quiet day but mum's sunday roast soon sorted it.
Couldn't sleep last night due to the consumption of Redbull and vodka. It was certainly a night to remember. Now I'm waiting for the "Life begins at" bit...
