Your Guy Moment - or - how close have you been to his tummy??

OK - here is the thread!! And here is one of my Guy Moments, the 2006 Cohesion concert - as filmed by an unknown source...

I got to tickle his tummy in Dublin early last year (he was leaning over me and I couldn't resist )

Ahhh!! I leaned my head against his tummy - though I have no photographic proof - just the word of Mr and Mrsprestwichred that my face looked like the Cheshire Cat!!! But here is the photo of right before it happened. As you can see I am as cool as a cucumber....

That's after really making me laugh!!!

LOL, now that we know that they do read these things ( ) this could get embarrssing...

I tentatively stroked his right side in Newport - when he was doing the hand shaking thing in Weather to Fly.

I met Guy at Elbow's DJ stint at Tiger Tiger. He came over to talk to me and my friend Bernadette. Turns out she went to school with one of his sisters.

How many times have you met him SG? YOu lucky, lucky, lucky, lucky, lucky, lucky, luckly, lucky girl.

Oh, I have only met him once. And I think we have come to the end (for the time being anyway) of my Guy moments.

I have one photo of him and the light shining over his head makes him look like he's wearing a shower cap!

Or he's put his finger in an electric plug!

I have 4 Guy moments
1. holding his hand at the Apollo last Oct
2.him leaning over me at the Empress Ballroom and I held his hand again
3. meeting him after the Leisure Society gig at Ruby Lounge, having a proper chat and he was lovely
4.meeting him at Tiger Tiger when they did their DJ set, thoroughly embarassed myself but well worth it as I got a hug and kiss. The photos in the gallery-I've no idea how to put it here.

i suggested tained love as the encore song as wolvo last year.

and when i was singing all the words to mexican standoof he winked at me

Was three rows-ish from the front at the B.I.C. During the interlude of Mirrorball, I was just staring at him and he gave me a huge grin. I being the nervous idiot didn't know what to do so I just grinned back I hope the grin wasn't too psychotic

Everytime I see this thread I get the song Guy Love from Scrubs stuck in my head. It's only got one word in common! Aaanyway, carry on

you are all such lucky people! I still havnt had the pleasure to be in a 50mile radius to Guy!

Quite last minute we decided to sell our tickets to the sold out London Calling Festival in Amsterdam and buy tickets for the Elbow gig in Eindhoven. I'm not sure we would have done that if it wasn't for Laura Marling, opening for Elbow that evening.
Because we always like to stand quite close to the stage we got there nicely on time and managed to get a nice spot on the second row.

I have the habit of sometimes closing my eyes during a concert so nothing can distract me from the music and that's what I also did this evening. I'm not sure how long I stood there with my eyes closed, but it must have been quite a while. When I opened my eyes again I looked straight at Guy, and he was looking straight at me and smiled. Probably because I must have looked pretty shocked/surprised

Later my friend told me Guy had been looking at me for quite a while, because it made my friend look at me, to see why Guy was looking at me.

So I guess I sort of missed my own Guy-moment
