Let's bring back the chat box, since more and more users are on at one single time, i'm sure it will be used. You could give it a week trial or something.

A forthcoming tour dates sticky, announcment thing on this board. That way newbies have just one thread where they can see if there are any dates coming up near them.

I'd be more than happy to sort it out if we think it'd go down well?

I've been thinking for a while of ditching the whole announcements section, and holding the announcements here instead, so that might be feasible.

I'll leave the current threads unmerged as they are far to far gone to merge without making confusing reading, however I will be more try to be vigilant about this in future. I'm on holiday at the moment which ironically seems to leave me with less free time then when I am at work!

Oh, I see we're now doing gig reports in the Elbow Patch, that'll do!

Since the announcements section has been ditched, how about replacing it with an 'elbow live' board for gig reports, set lists, meet ups, tour news etc etc etc?

I think that it's better for now to stick to the current format. I will consider this in future or, as ever, bow to popular opinion.

I think that an archive of set lists, gigs, tours etc would be a good idea but would be better suited to a seperate site rather than a forum. I've been thinking of setting up an elbow wiki for things like this, maybe I will now!

Weird. I didn't do that. It's still configured correctly in the panel, so wait and see if forum motion sort it out
