| Ok, so i'm having a house party on saturday, and I need some suggestions for music. I need stuff that people can dance/sing to. Any era is good, 70s/80s/90s/recent. You have 48 hours Mr Bond....oh...no...wait a sec.... | |

| I would personally go for a bit of hot chip and maybe some guillemots! And I have been known to "sing" along, word for word, with kanye west. I ain't sayin she's a gold digger... Good luck | |

| Kudos to Guy for mentioning Lui Prima. The Wildest is indeed one of the most exciting albums ever made and Prima is the true king of the swingers.
Evetrybody now "IIIIIIIIIII, ain't got nobody!"
As for party tunes, here's some of what I'd pick:
Van Morrison - Brown Eyed Girl Abba - virtually anything Earth Wind And Fire - see above Stealers Wheel - Stuck In The Middle With You Steve Harley - Come Up And See Me Kool And The Gang - Jungle Boogie Ian Dury And The Blockheads - Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick Jackson Five - Can You Feel It Blondie - Hangin' On The Telephone The Jam - Town Called Malice The Beatles - Saw Her Standing There The Rolling Stones - Miss You |

| Yep, I agree with all KingSwinger's suggestions. You may think some of them are a little naff, but hey, it's a party and I bet EVERYBODY will love that stuff. Personally, the one song that always gets me dancing is What You Need by INXS. So stick that on your list as well. Also, I don't see my invite anywhere??? | |
