| Hey... Well I could post this at little things that make you smile cause I'm so happy, but I need your help. I'm flying to London for the first time. What/where should/need I REALLY see/go to? Any suggestions??!! Thanks! :-)
Btw. Thought about driving to Manchester but the Train ticket prices are insane.

| It depends what you fancy doing once you're there, EF: London has lots of everything! What do you normally like to do on holiday? See bands, do the tourist sights, go to museums or art galleries, visit the theatre, eat at nice restaurants? You could go see a arthouse film or get in to see some TV shows being recorded...? There's lots of options. | |

| Wow... ok, thanks a lot... Thinking about the Eye, but I'm not feeling the heigh... I'll see. I'd like to go to the theatre and concerts evenings and sightseeing at daytimes... I though about playing snooker a bit. Never did it... But like you've said: there is plenty of everything. I guess we won't get bored. *LOL* | |

| Don't let the hight of the London Eye stop you. it wil be one of the best things you ever do. I loved it so much I went on at night aswell. Absolutely beautiful on a clear evening. You could play snooker, but it's a bit of a hit or a miss | |

| Yeah, I agree. The London Eye is by far the best tourist attraction in London. Do it, you'll love it.
Restaurants? Loads. What area are you staying?

| As far as I know near Victoria Station. But that doesn't matter. We'll be around a lot. So everything central London is great. | |

| Ah!!! Need your help again. *LOL* Try to figure out which is the best way to get from Heathrow to the City. The Heathrow Express is not the best option cause it stops at Paddington and we have to go to the Victoria Station. But there I have to change in South Kensington. Does anybody know how expencive it is to get from South Kensington to Victoria Station (to our hotel which is close to that) by Taxi? Well it's cheaper traveling with the Travel Card (Zone 1-6) than Heathrow Express + Travel Card (Zone 1-2).
Thanks again!

| Glad I found this...I am in the process of figuring out what Mr. Chrissie, my daughter and I will be doing while we take a two-day stopover in LDN next month, on our way to visit Mr. Chrissie's clan in Scotland. Already figured we'd do the Eye, my kid is bananas about the idea of that one! And we will likely do some Beatles-related stuff as she and I are Beatles-barmy. She wants to see the Abbey Road crosswalk and Paul's place in St. John's Wood and such, plus we'd like her to see some of the more historical spots as well, so we have a lot of stuff to fit in to 2 days time! | |
