Hi there. I'm Claire, I'm seventeen and I live in London, England. Me and my Dad are both huge fans of Elbow and I've seen them live once at Wembley Arena.

I joined because I'm studying BTEC National Diploma Music Performance, and at the moment I'm writing a 2000 word essay entitled "What makes a successful ensemble?" In order to answer the question, I am using Elbow as my example. But I thought all the hardcore fans would be lurking round these parts and so I could get help where needed right here. ^^

On a related note, my life has calmed down a bit recently so I'll be on here a bit more hopefully. I got offered a post as a mod on 206info last March and got promoted to admin a few months ago. Since they have around 5k members at the moment, it's been a bit of a full time job.

I live in France, Paris. I've been an Elbow fan since Asleep in the back, but I could only manage to see them live once (in Paris, La Maroquinerie, back in 2006).
I should be at the first O2 gig next month.

I see I'm keeping up my tradition of introducing myself AFTER posting somewhere else first...

Anyway, I've known Elbow since shortly after TSSK was released, and they've easily been my favourite band ever since. Got all the albums, lovin em!
And come March, school will have caused me to miss them live twice.
Still, as they say, "these days are golden".
I'm not one for hyperbole, but I literally cannot wait for Build A Rocket Boys!

Just thought i'd say hello to everyone, as I am obviously new here.

I only became a fan of Elbow about 2 years ago when I would wake up to 'One day like this' playing everyday on XFM and after that it took quite a bit of time for me to appreciate there other stuff, but they are now easily my favourite British band and 2nd favourite band (behind Tool) I cannot wait too see them at 02 this year. My favourite Elbow song always changes depending on the mood, but at the moment it is 'The loneliness of a tower crane driver' although that could be changing once i listen to 'Build a rocket boys' a few more times. Heres hoping for another decade of great Elbow music

Hello to everyone.

I have heard plenty of good things about this site off my old friend MBV and thought i should take the plunge.

I've been into the band since Cast of Thousands and have loved everything since.

Listening to Build a Rocket most of the day when i have been out and about and it feels so familiar already. Just have to let it soak into the soul.
