| If it sounds like so many other songs, then it's probably a coincidence.
Let's not forget the similarity between the end title credits of the cartoon "Dungeons and Dragons", and ODLT.

| Tbh, there are only so many catchy tunes you can cobble together. It's likely that at least one of those will sound like something else. It's kinda like when I am improvising on the piano, the song I play will most likely sound similar to the last song I heard. | |

A coincidence? The first eight notes of the melody line are exactly the same as the Temple of Doom music (if you transpose it)... Still if you're going to nick a tune, you might as well nick a good one.

Would you say that Bob Marley nicked Buffalo Soldier from the Banana Splits? Maybe, maybe not... "He was a serious man, I very much doubt that he would have heard of them." All I'm saying is the chances of Bellamy and pals NOT having heard the Indy theme music in their life are this big: tiny. Plus unlike the Banana Splits/Bob Marley tune it's quite a strange melody line, what with its flattened second note (muso alert!)

| The flattened second note is cos its the double harmonic scale aka the Arabic scale. | |

Seen Muse over a dozen times, and seeing them on the tour this autumn ..I was already booked up for Bingley and other stuff before the tinmuff thing got announced ,and with all the hassle there would be with travelling etc I'm not bothered. Plus Zane Lowe will be playing bits of the gig on the following Monday on his show and there is word BBC3 will be filming it so I'll get to see /hear it one way or another
