| Just been reading about the new set. Going to look like something from Ministry in 1984. Different levels/platforms going up and down. Big costs ! MUSE aim to please. So looking forward to November. | |

| Yeah the VMA performance was amazing. Really can't wait for November now! I was initially unsure about the album (but that's nothing new-they always take a while to warm up with me) but after a few listens I'm really getting into it. Loving Uprising, MK Ultra and I belong to you. It looks like with this stuff added to the setlist it'll be an amazing gig. | |

| Ok, so this is my first re-appearance on this humble little forum since the Resistance came out.
Thoughts??? Well, upon first listenings, I hated it. I thought "oh my god what has happened here" But, I gave it time, and actually its a rather good attempt. Better than Black holes etc, but not a patch on Absolution or OOS.
MK Ultra is such a tune, and as for the symphony... Oh my god - I was quite literally blown away by it.
An inconistant yet - in parts - quite fabulous album I'd say. Exciting to say the very least.

| I love OOS and Absolution. Black Holes was heading towards self-parody IMHO. Sadly, for me, I think they've gone too far with the new album. Pretentious bollocks most of it IMO. It's also far too slickly produced. Muse should have rough edges and they don't any more. | |

| One of my friends rightly pointed out that track 3 (Undisclosed Desires) actually sounds like it belongs on a Backstreet Boys or NSync album and I totally agree. It's without doubt my least favourite track on the Resistance. Its just so out of place!!
Funnily enough I really didn't like Absolution apart from one or 2 tracks. I thought BHAR was much better.

I thinnk the Red Hot Chili Peppers did it with By The Way too. A far too polished album. The songs are great, but over-produced. The Resistance is the same.

| FINALLY got the new album, an I LOVE IT. Still, yeah, not a patch on Absolution. You have to admit though, for three people, they certainly can belt out some massive sounds. | |

I'm so ready for 4th Nov at Sheffield.

| Ok, I probably love every song on this album. Only the symphony thrilogie is not my type of music. On resistance I'd love to close my eyes! And with United states... I can see Freddy dancing on a cloud! Which is totally a good thing, cause they never denied that they love Queen. All in all a great album!! | |

| Those pics are great. I never bring my camera to gigs. I'm too lazy to bother with it during the show! I thought Matt looked way happier zooming around the stage than the last time I saw them when he seemed to be stuck behind the piano a lot. He had on pink trousers at the Dublin gig and STILL looked amazing in them. He's a frickin god. | |
