| I'm going to Wembley with a couple of friends. I think I'm as excited about this as I was for my first Elbow or R.E.M. gig! I've never seen them before and it's a LONG wait for September! | |

You will be blown away by them. They have really excelled themselves with the set and look out for the Chris + Dom duo. this!! they are amazing live ..not so much a gig as an experience oh and Tailfly ...join the forum, and if you can't get tix this time round, keep an eye on the Musebay section, forumers sell spare tix to other forumers ...you can usually get tix for most of the Muse shows there and at facevalue

Tailfly - pity we can't get Sunday girl to come. She is not so into Muse. Really enjoyed going to the Kasabian gig with her.

| OOOH Muse used to be my fav band... but then I discovered Arcade Fire and they took them the first place.
I love all their records, specially Absolution, Black Holes & Revelations and Origin of Symmetry. The Resistance has things that I really don't like (Exogenesis, Undisclosed Desires...) and Showbiz the same, but it's different, cause it was their first record.
I recommend Absolution to everyone. Ruled By Secrecy is incredibly amazing, like Butterflies & Hurricanes, Hysteria, Endlessly... Everything on that record is perfect.

| I've been meaning to get the 2 I don't have (that would be Showbiz and Absolution) but it just got put off. Definatly one of the best rock bands on the planet, even though they're a bit over the top. | |

| Yes, OoS is very good too. I'm so fan that I'm in the Spanish forum haha
What do you think about The Resistance? Do you like, or do you think it's their biggest mistake? I'm kind of between the two answers... I hate Undisclosed Desires and Exogenesis (except the III part), but I LOVE United States of Eurasia, Unnatural Selection, Guiding Light, MK Ultra. Uprising, Resistance and I Belong to You are good, I like them, but not that much. I think Exogenesis is the problem of the album... It's not good. I study music and I'm used to classical music and the "symphony" of Muse is... pff.
If I would rank their albums it would be this way:
Absolution The Resistance / Black Holes & Revelations / Origin of Symmetry (depending on the day haha) Sghowbiz (mmm... don't really like it, it has very good songs but I don't know, it doesn't convince me at 100%)

I don't hate The Resistance because it has songs that I like a lot, but it is not my favorite Muse CD. I absolutely love Unnatural Selection and MK Ultra, but do enjoy United States of Eurasia and Uprising. I also like Exogenesis (especially Part III), but understand why some people do not. Unfortunately, I do not like Guiding Light. It's the only song from the CD that isn't on my iPod, and I thought it was a bit of a mood killer at the shows I attended.

...however for some reason, this song always reminds me of the traditional song 'My Grandfather's Clock'

| There's a Muse thread in here! Most excellent!
Muse are my favorite band ever. Literally. They changed my life, and not just through their music. It's hard for me to fully explain, as the full story behind it is a bit personal.

| What did everyone think of the band's performance during The Grammys? I would have preferred a straight performance without the protesters on stage, but still think that they did a bang up job, and it was a great way to introduce them to a massive American audience. A couple of my non Muser friends have asked me for recommendations to download based on their performance. I'm also happy that they won the Grammy for best Rock album, even if it was for The Resistance | |

Fancy seeing you in here too after White Lies. Muse and Elbow have been my joint-faves ever since 2000. So far they've been decent enough to stagger their tours/albums - just when one finishes touring an album, the other pops up with a new album and tour. If I ever had to choose between them I don't know what I'd do!
