First ever listen to this band. Current opinion......Interesting. I think it needs a couple of listens to sink in.

| "With kind permission of..." by Jethro Tull, a very funny classic medley spiced up with typical Anderson craziness... | |

I love this album. Ehm. Not from me - I still like them! And your post has spurred me on to dust this one off! Ah, what a fab opening track!

| 10cc - I'm Mandy Fly Me
A wonderfully catchy piece of pop music from another great Manchester (well Stockport) band. 10cc proved that pop need not be predictable or dull, but can be witty and adventurous.

First ever listen to this band. Current opinion......Interesting. I think it needs a couple of listens to sink in. Hotblack. I strongly advise you to stick with it. Its a fabulous album. I agree a few listens are needed; but after that it really gets to you, in a good way. One of my favourite ever albums now. Missed the Boat, Spitting Venom, Invisible, We've Got Everything, Little Motel: those are the highlight tracks

| Cheers Leo. Most things get several listens before I really make up my mind. Now listening to Alabama 3 - Exile on Coldharbour Lane. A very amusing, infectious and humourous album. | |

Fantastic band! Saw them at Trowbridge Folk (!) Festival last year - that really blew the old folkies away!

You must go - I insist!!! I've just checked out the festival website. It sounds brilliant. I see Loudon Wainwright (dad of Martha and Rufus) and Ade Edmondson and the Bad Shepherds are playing too. It's even sponsored by Wadworths. Pity that weekend is already booked with the MIL's 80th
