Presumably if the whole album's available for free backwards, anyone with Audacity or some other music editor could just convert the whole lot and get the album for free forwards?
All this backwards album stuff reminds me of the Stone Roses song 'Don't Stop', which was, in effect, a cover version of 'Waterfall' played backwards, with the lyrics changed to an approximation of what the backwards lyrics were (if you see what I mean). Clever idea, I thought... The Stone Roses were immense. Huge fan of theirs. Wish they were still together. If I could hear 'I Am The Resurrection' live just once I think I could die happy. | and in turn, I'm a fairly recent convert but I absolutely LOVE Roxy Music! I sort-of saw the Stone Roses live... but sad to say it wasn't the original line-up, but their infamous swansong at Reading in '96, minus John and Reni, in which Ian Brown's vocal performance was likened by one music journalist to "a bloke shouting into a bucket". I lasted two songs and then went to see Underworld in the NME tent What do you think of 'Second Coming' by the way? It got slagged off by everyone at the time, but I love it.

| Ooh, haven't heard the Stone Roses for years, must give it a listen again.
I'm listening to a lot of Mark Lanegan at the moment - I'm going to see him & Isobel Campbell next month (2 days before Delamere Forest, a busy week...) so am catching up getting to know some of his stuff. Whiskey for the Holy Ghost is amazing.

| Try Bubblegum. One of my favourite Mark Lanegan albums.....ever.
It must be the most ironic title to any album. Dark, broody but beautiful as well. It's really intense

What do you think of 'Second Coming' by the way? It got slagged off by everyone at the time, but I love it. 'Second Coming' is good but it was never going to be as good as their debut. I can listen to 'The Stone Roses' from start to finish over and over but I can't really do that with 'Second Coming.' I like Breaking Into Heaven and Tightrope from it best. Sigur Rós - MÃlanó

Of the three that I've got I think Field Songs isn't that good. I rarely listen to it, put it that way. Looking forward to Later with Jools Holland tonight. The Gutter Twins (featuring said Mr. Lanegan) are on. I'm interested to hear the new stuff. And whilst I was out this morning I listened to The Who Sell Out, Rain Dogs - Tom Waits and Nielsen 1st Symphony.
