Do you think the MEN will be as forgiving as The Bridgewater?

Well I've been toying with the idea of going to Berlin for their show, but now........... Yahoo! I'ts a hell of a lot cheaper than flying to Germany/ hotels etc...

I generally hate arenas, only done the MEN once, seated at the back but the sound was ok. Couldn't bring myself to do Wembley, it's a bloody awful aircraft hangar of a venue with shite sound.

If we have a forum gang going to the MEN please can I join in? It makes arena gigs a bit more bearable, like saving each other's place so people can get to the bar, toilet, merchandise stall etc etc. Plus having a bit of a choir going for the non-TSSK songs.

I am sad at the thought that it might be the last gig for a year or so though.

If the MEN gig is half as good as Wembley, it'll be a cracker!

I totally think we should have a big gang of us forum fans going - we could all meet up at a pre-arranged time and place and stand in line together - keep out the "undesireables", save places - it would be a last hurrah. Totally up for it. A big gang of us right at the front.

Ticketmaster have a thing where you can print off your tickets straight away but dont know about this Gigs and tours.com, and thats who the Elbow site say are selling them.
I STILL haven't got my B/W tix yet hopefully picking them up on thursday though.

OK, MrsMT has suggested we come back on a visit for this gig! A forum meet up is a spectacular idea, we normally go in Sinclair's, but that may get a bit packed cos it's only small. Cheap beer though.

Other options include the places in the Printworks but they are a bit, well, poncy tbh.

For the Halle I suggest maybe the British Protection? That's a nice one.

I agreee. I can't think of decent pub near the MEN...I'll have to do a recon and scope for one...
