OH! See Mrswoman, you were right. We all put money in the MAG coffers after the GG gig - your suggestion in lieu of the run-of-the-mill ritual sacrifice. And it worked!!!

- Haven't been on in AGES...have been extremely busy with my kid out on summer hols...but I was aware of the fact that some of you lucky buggers are going to be reveling in orchestral Elbowy goodness this week, so I wanted to just say have fun! Even though I won't be able to go, please don't let guilty feelings or whatever stop you from enjoying yourselves. Really, it's OK...I don't mind. It's just that I'll probably be chasing after my kid or cleaning the house while you're all at the shows, which is fun too, in its own way. And maybe there'll be something decent on the telly or something. So, you know, I'll be fine. Honestly, it's no big deal. It doesn't suck half as bad as you'd think, truly.
Anyway, have a great time, you lucky gits!!! And pictures please if anyone manages to snap some! Hey Chrissie!! Just think - in a month today - we'll all be pig sick jealous of you going to see them in Atlanta!!! Keep the faith !!

| I feel strangely deflated, I was SO looking forward to surprising him at the very last minute, although I kind of had a feeling I would be very lucky to get that far. I'm amazed he didn't want to buy some off eBay sooner, partic as I have done that on 3 occassions for Muse in the past. To get so close then have to tell him the night before is a bit of a disappointment... but then if that's a disappointment life ain't bad is it I'm also knackered, the 'stress' of keeping it secret, the emotions of going to Canada and our impending period of separation, and the mad rush to get the kitchen decorated for selling the house have all taken their toll | |

Oh, I bet you are. Moving is hard enough, but moving to anotehr country? Very tough. I've done it twice, and it is hard, but soon you forget all about it and enjoy the new environment and your new exciting life!!! And once you're sat in the Halle you won't be thinking of that at all, just the lovely music!!! What a great memory to take to Canada with you! (XFM are playing Newborn...how appropriate!)
