It is a stunning venue though.

I've been streaming Sky At Night from the guardian website all weekend and just nipped out at lunchtime to buy my copy.

A fantastic album which should get the band some well deserved recognition

I was a bit concerned hearing the various tracks and releases piecemeal over the last few weeks that it might be a bit unbalanced with too many downbeat/last chance saloon type tracks on it, but when you hear the full album it's fine ("It's fine", what am I talking about "It's absolutely bloomin brilliant")

Anyway, the second half of "Radiation" is the most gloriously upbeat refrain since you know what, so you don't need any more highs!

"Everything we ever thought we'd ever want, me and you, well it just came through, it just came true"....like a perfect blend of Elbow and the Beatles

As the last note on "Same Shoes" fades away, you just want to play the whole album again.

CD arrived today and it's been on constant rotation in the car - I think it's utterly marvelous! I've also booked a couple of tickets in Bristol (apparently it's on a boat, which should be a blast). This is going to be a Kloot year for me I think.

Well done IAK for writing and Craig and Guy for producing such an incredible album.

Not seen a mention of it here. Kloot did a session on the Radcliffe & Maconie show on R2 Tuesday eve.

Kloot seated, in a beautiful london church. Hope they have Stella and Jote at al with them, and perform the whole album.

I was lucky enough to win tickets for a Radio Session they did on Thursday in Vienna. I've seen them live before but this was really special. They played the whole new album and then a few songs from previous albums. It was recorded for Radio and on video and will be broadcast on fm4.orf.at next Tuesday and a videostream will be available for 10 days from Tuesday onwards.

Yay, I've just heard they're playing Manchester Cathedral on 3rd December so we've booked tickets - Like you said about the London one LWD, I'm sure this will be a very special atmosphere.

Yep that's Northern Skies, the first single from the album.
Proof is the next one so it will be interesting to see if they keep the original Eccleston clip for that.


It was a nice interview, the ole Johnny is very charasmatic!! Great he is also re-releasing You, Me and The Alarm Clock, that is a magnificent piece of work.

I've recorded their Radio Session in Vienna when it was broadcast on Austrian radio and just uploaded it for my sister, so if anyone is interested just send me a PM and I will send you the link.

Funny, they mentioned getting played as background music on TV programmes following the Mercury - well I was watching a prog called "Secret Britain" last night and they played bits of Proof, Northern Skies and (I think) the Moon is a Blind Eye. The advance of Kloot on the UK starts here.

They're obviously the same team who make 'Countryfile' as the new album is all over that show as well.
