saw them in Leeds on Weds and they were as usual brilliant, shame about the ignorant morons who talked all the way through every track they didnt recognise, luckily I managed to find a happy place and blocked them out-mostly! cant make Manchester and I'm gutted.

A couple of great videos here.
Northern Skies (with the excellent Christopher Eccleston again): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jf0e0f_XodE&feature=channel (There's a scene looks like the top of our road halfway through - if it is I wished they'd called for a cuppa while filming )

Last night they played two sets. Set one, The Sky At Night in it's entirety. Set two, a traditional Kloot set with just the three of them.

Loving this radio interview just posted with John! 'John Bramwell (I Am Kloot) talks to Dougs about the new album 'Sky At Night', changing record labels, funny stories from the road.....and Kate Winslet?'

I'm jealous. Last night was beautiful. The new album sounds even more gorgeous in the live setting.

Last night (Manchester) was indeed beautiful. I hadn't heard most of the new album and what an introduction to it! Can't wait. As others have said, they had an expanded line-up (strings, keyboard guitar and sax) for the first half, and played through the new album, presumably all of it in order - I was right at the front and enraptured. Sorry i can't give details; he didn't really give titles and it was my first hearing for most songs, but suffice to say it sounds like it's going to be their best yet. Then an excellent set of favourites in the second half with just the 3 of them, on wonderful form.
I really loved the idea of the two halves like that and it's a brilliant way to hear the new album for the first time (so, frustrating though it is, actually in a way I'm glad I hadn't heard it). Possibly a format for Elbow to consider with the next one?
The atmosphere was great; the inevitable talking not too bad except a slightly drunk guy who kept yelling out in the first half and got some looks and then comments from John - which I can quite understand as he gives such a passionate performance and it really does spoil it - but it was soon turned into friendly banter and overall the atmosphere was wonderful.
I just can't wait to get my hands on The Sky At NIght now.

Just listened to it. He played "Northern Skies" and "I Still Do" from the new album, plus about 15 minutes of chatting to Lauren
I won't spoil it for anyone cos it's on the i-player for another 5 days

Tuesday evening was just immense. After listening to the album, I was unsure if the boys could replicate the atmosphere and arrangements to a live situation, but they proved me wrong. I'm also so glad they played the album from start to finish, to listen to the story unfold at Bush Hall was truly euphonious.

They played a brilliant set at Glastonbury on Sunday evening, to a great crowd who received the new tracks really well, considering it was most of the set!! They ended with Radiation, I really hope those boys will be playing higher up the bill next year.

I can't stop listening to 'fingerprints' 'the moon is a blind eye' it's just the night' and 'same shoes' in particular. Its like JHAB'S singer songwriting genius has been enhanced and magnified and had magic dust sprinkled through the Kloot songs of this album. The words are taking on more meanings, with the way its been mixed and with the connected themes running through it.
It is a quality turnmeup.org album. To play the real CD is the best sound. I need to find a frame for the signed print that came with it.
