ODLT on Waterloo Road again

Have just heard ODLT on Playing the Part on BBC1

GFD is the theme tune type thing on BBC3's Blood Sweat and Takeaways

GFD is used in the Burn After Reading trailer.. still haven't seen the film, but the song sounds awesome over the trailer =]

Asleep in the Back was used for the closing credits of the Radio 4 Afternoon Play yesterday. OK not quite TV, but lovely to hear it in that context.

Starlings and Mirrorball used in Countryfile last night in a piece about chalk streams in the Chilterns.

I'm sitting here, watching a pile of rubbish, waiting for the next Elbow thread - they coming thick and fast at the moment. It still gives me a buzz when one comes on! My family are sick of me screeching!

We were just talking about it the other day and wondered if they'd done some deal, i.e. the BBC gave them publicity with the "Red Button" ongoing broadcast of the Abbey Road/BBC Concert Orchestra gig, perhaps in return for that the BBC could use snippets of their songs for a certain length of time?? Just a thought, and of course the Channel 4 ones etc. aren't included in that.

Worryingly i thought it was chasing cars. It's running the risk of becoming that bloody generic.
