| I pre-ordered the deluxe version through hmw. It's going to be a waiting game, but I think it'll be worth it.
Japanese bonus tracks are normally the b-sides, right? You'll probably have access to the potential bonus tracks before it even releases there, but I could be wrong.
The foil cover info comes from the amazon description, so I have a feeling that's all it will be.

| With TSSK, there was an EU edition that matched the JPN edition (at half the price!). Yeah, you got "We're Away," "Hotel Istanbul," and "Lullaby" in that order tagged onto the end. "Hotel Istanbul" alone made that worthwhile, so I'm hoping for something equally stellar on barb!. | |

| This isn't even remotely reliable information, but the barb! wikipedia page was updated a few days ago with the track lengths: 1. "The Birds" – 8:04 2. "Lippy Kids" – 6:06 3. "With Love" – 4:12 4. "Neat Little Rows" – 5:40 5. "Jesus Is a Rochdale Girl" – 3:18 6. "The Night Will Always Win" – 4:25 7. "High Ideals" – 5:39 8. "The River" – 2:51 9. "Open Arms" – 4:54 10. "The Birds (Reprise)" - 1:32 11. "Dear Friends" – 5:01 Hopefully there will be an official source for this kind of information. Also, they've updated the look of the album's website: http://buildarocketboys.com/ | |

| Thank you Ukkonen!!
So maybe the special edition has foil around the outside because inside there is a kit to build a rocket! That would be great!

| Sorry to bring any negativity but I'm slightly nervous about two tracks totalling 14 mins at the start of the album ? thats a brave stance to take for any band unless there is some astronomical shift in the development of the song. Obviously i'll reserve judgement until i hear them together and i have always loved everything elbow do .....but there's a naggin doubt there that makes me think i'll end up skipping on half way through those songs after a while. Hope i'm wrong. Can't wait to hear the album though | |

| I am from the Netherlands and in Itunes store at the bottom, you can change your store to United Kingdom, then you are able to listen to the previews. At least I am. And I have to say it REALLY sounds promising, can not wait for the album !! | |

| Did the preview thingy and was really intrigued - what a great mixed bag of sounds/styles! Very optimistic about this album, and at the very least it will be an interesting bunch of tunes, from the way those snippets sound. | |

| I'd not lilke listen a whole album streaming or leak, but for those snippets i can make an exception : the record sounds great! Probably not so rock...it sounds like Bacarach meets Radiohead. | |

| This has probably already been covered already, but remember they recorded the crowd at Wembley? Did that make the album? 'Dear Friends', I presume? | |

no preview of tracks yet - but states running length at 00:51:42
http://www.play.com/ProductOutline.aspx?title=18686736&r=DOWNLOAD_ALBUM If that is the running length of the album, then the times I posted could be correct. The times add up to 51:42. About the 8 minute lead track (confirmed by the Daily Star of all publications)... eMusic forces customers to buy the full album in order to get the longer tracks, so it looks like they partially found a way to get their latest album sold as one piece from at least one online retailer. This album is shorter than AITB (61:41) and TSSK (57:00). I would include CoT, but it was only the US version that nearly reached an hour in length due to added b-sides. I don't think it will be an issue, truthfully, because if you've listened to AITB with no problem, the track length won't be noticeable. - Misspelt Yoof wrote:

Hmm... The lyrics match Dear Friends, but Guy said it would only make the record if the recording was good enough. Daily Star mentioned: "and a beautiful choral finale", but I think they might have used the Halle Youth Choir instead.

From the review in The Word 'Although a crowd delivers the tagline of With Love, it's not until nine songs in, Open Arms that a choir joins the stirringly sentimental refrain 'We've got open arms, for broken hearts like yours, my boy, come home again'. So it looks like something might have made it on to 'With Love'.
