| that quote doesn't actually do the review much justice, they actually thought the album was very good | |

| ......Q also gave TSSK 4/5
and ref from Metacritic attributed to Q
"Elbow have hardly stepped out of their comfort zone here, but then their comfort zone has always been oddly unsettling. They're still burning: slowly, maybe, but stronger than ever. [Apr 2008, p.114]"

| Ahhh, it looks like being impatient with the pre-orders didn't quite pay off in the long run. The temptation is too much but I don't qualify for it because of the pre-release album playback. recordstore has their own Elbow offer: *Pre-order the new Elbow album 'Build A Rocket Boys!' and you could win a signed copy plus come to an extremely limited pre-release album playback across the country. Details TBC. http://www.recordstore.co.uk/productdetail.jsp?productPK=unittest-bmNLqOng7rWbBemlqN3IEb-1Hopefully one of you have the ability to be lucky. | |

| For I never win anyway... But it reminds me again on my "bad luck" at Mogwai's preorder I've done yet and now Sub Pop send with preorders also "Mogwai earplugs"... I just hope, that the ordered vinyl single will arrive well... | |

| At last! The deluxe edition version of elbow's fifth studio album 'build a rocket boys!' (I've already preordered it) is delivered in digipack packaging with a foil cover. Nothing special (I was hoping for more). | |

| Well that solves that then...I bloody hate digipack...
I even bought Spiritualized's "Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space" in a jewel case to avoid having a huge blister pack hanging around...
And welcome, mouxlaloulouda

| Hello everyone!!
Where are you pre-ordering the album? I shamefully pre-ordered TSSK from Amazon and it took ages to arrive - in fact after I'd been to some of the first gigs of that tour. I ended up downloading (legally!) from iTunes, so paid twice. Well, three times if you include Live at Abbey Road...
anyway, is the deluxe really an extra 3 quid for only a foil wrapper?

I've bought Asleep in the Back four times. I had the CD (One), and lost it. I really wanted to listen to it again, couldn't find it in stores, so I bought it on iTunes (Two). Then I found it on eBay cheap (Three). Then I found the original CD. Then I bought the Deluxe (Four). Good times.

| I haven't pre-ordered yet. I don't know where I'll order it from; I'm still holding out for some bonus tracks on a Japanese release or something. | |
