OK..Who leaked the album!?

If it's been leaked one week before release, I think that's pretty good going

Has it though? I can't find it..not that I'm recommending anyone should look for it, this is purely for research purposes

Like Magical Trevor, I can't find a "real" leak. There have been "fake" leaks of the album since late December.

We have the leak, but I'm not sure what I can and can't do and I'm not sure if I can listen to it anyway. But it has been downloaded and there are friends I know listening as we speak.

I agree not even a week, great going and realistically I would've hoped we will have the album by Saturdee if the postman is nice.

I got notification from HMV that my CD is in the post.

I don't know if it really will be seven days across the pond, but that would be awesome. I can hold out until Wednesday.

It's not a bad thing to download it to listen to on the drive to Cambridge later, is it? Good!

I need it!!! Obviously I'm going to buy the album when it comes out but I'm going on holiday on the weekend so won't be able to buy it as soon as it comes out.

Eek! Amazon "order dispatched" notice just dropped into my inbox!! Well, two, actually - I must have got a bit excited and preordered two copies on different days. (OK I'll wait until the chart position is announced before returning one )

Just read the posts about the leaks but will hold out now... hopefully by the weekend, can't wait!

- that way i can be 100% sure to hear it on Monday.

Ok, as I discussed here some months ago, I always download albums and then I decide if I'm going to buy them or not (not going to spend money on something I don't like...). And respect of BARB... oh god. I'LL BUY THE FIRST DAY!

Lippy Kids is incredibly beautiful and charming, the choir makes it very special! Jesus Is A... is very beautiful too. Open Arms is so beautiful too... I think Elbow has made it once again. In BARB there are "sounds" that are just pure perfection. And I love the inclusion of the choir in the songs, they make them brigther than they would have been.

Very good, Elbow, and thanks. It's a gem.

After the tracks they played last night, the one I'm most looking forward to on the album is The Birds. It was an absolute belter of a song and it sounded fantastic Live!!

Closely followed by Dear Friends, which I was gutted they didn't play. It's kinda reminiscent of AITB for me... the song itself not the album.

got this email from universal for my vinyl pre-order, i was never really given a ship date when i ordered, who knows when it will get here

I got the same e-mail from Universal regarding my vinyl today. Who knows when it will get to Brazil! But I am waiting to listen first on vinyl no matter what, although I am very very tempted to buy a digital copy. Must... stop... reading... reviews.

By the way, can anyone help me with this conundrum? I would like to pre-order a digital copy of the album for some friends (so I will pay with a Brazilian credit card), but they live in Europe (Belgium and France). I would prefer non-DRM high quality mp3s, or even flacs. I think Amazon does not accept my card to buy mp3s. Play seems vague about it. Maybe 7 digital will take my money?
