Yay MBV! Hope to see you there! (Not sure about the no-alcohol rule, though... )

| Thanks Jones ! No, the alcohol ban HAS to stay put. The memories from the recent Morrissey show in Manchester was, at best, very sketchy. Would never forgive myself if I did the same for the Halle show. Also, we're all sat down, and nobody wants someone with a pensioners bladder getting up and down for me ! | |

| Hi LWD ! Yeah, just checked on the Bridgwater site seating plan, and yep, I'm on the aisle seat which is cool, still staying off the ale though.
Me having my legs crossed and dying for the toilet once Great Expectations (hopefully) comes on, it would be bad news indeed.......

| Fab stuff! Faith in the Church of Elbow gets us through those dark nights of the tickletless soul again. Now all we want is one or two for MT. Now please all stand for hymn 143, "Flying Dream"... | |

Out of sheer curiosity, what would you consider a suitable sacrifice?! The destruction of our livers?

| I don't know. Normally, in that other Bible, it's goats or occasionally your son....I don't know....those might be a bit drastic...though this is a pretty major concert we're talking about.
Hmmm....I'll have to think about this.

| Nah, sacrificing poor animals or family members is SOOO Old Testament dahlink! CofE(lbow) is more Post-Modern Testament, I'd imagine. Hows about a sacrificing a quid or two into the MAG bucket at the next gig? | |

| Well, I'd been looking around for a ticket for the Wed but there weren't any single ones to be had, so I knew I was gonna have to get my hands on a pair. The spare one was always going to go to Ticky, as she kindly passed on her Thursday one to me! Also, re offerings/sacrifices; for the past 2 weeks I've been lighting a little candle beside my Aunt's photograph in my lounge (she was my Godmother) looking for her help and she's sure come through for me again! Silly? -Maybe... This of course doesn't mean I won't be giving generously to the Mag bucket. I shall bring silver galore, begorrah! | |
