| Shit!! I haven't been on the forum for about a week. Was just wondering where my tickets were and now I know, lost somewhere it seems. Guess I will have to ring Bridgewater tomorrow although don't know how and when I will be able to go and get them though.
What a total shambles!!

Exactly!! He keeps telling me not to panic it's not until July but I just want them in my hand and I won't be able to get to Manchester myself until next month when I have some time off work!! For some reason all I can think is that someone has nicked them and when I turn up on the night someone else will be sat in my seat!!! Mind you i'm hoping the tickets have surnames on, mine is so unusual noone else will have the same one unless they are a relative!!

| There is no way someone else could sit in your seats! So long as you have hte card you bought the tix with then you can prove that they are your tickets! When I went they asked my ame, post code AND they needed to see the card I used. So there wiull be no problem should someone be stupid enough to use the old lost/stolen tix.
Ha ha, I felt the same way though. I went last Saturday, and I went first thing in the morning (they open at 10) and then I had other stuff to do in town. I swear I checked my bag every 5 minutes to make sure they were still there. I kept having these terrible thoughts like, what if I'm mugged? I'd just scream "take the bag! Take the money! Just leave me the tickets!!!"

| Annoyingly I spent the whole of last Saturday in Manchester spending way too much money. If only I had read this forum before I could have picked them up then!! | |

| Ha ha, you might have seen me there!!! You'll have them soon!! When I went there were no questions asked, they just gave me new ones! I just looked at mine and our names aren't on them, but they do have records of who bought them. It'll be fine! xx | |

| Well...apparently he has had 6 offers. I'm just thinking now who will be gracing those seats A common or garden, everyday elbow fan that happens to have come into some money, or a famous celebrity with money, who really wants to get up close and personal to elbow and the Halle. There doesn't seem to be any on there going to charity. | |

| I called in to the Bridgewater Hall today to pick up my ticket (finally - it's in hand!) and had a good chat to the nice girls in the Box Office. They were printing off other tickets for dispatch, and I have to say looking at the big piles of tickets and envelopes that it wouldn't surprise me if the lost tickets have fallen behind a filing cupboard or something. There's a quote somewhere that paraphrased says "don't believe in conspiracies when simple bad luck or incompetence can explain it". Also, they are well aware about the touts and eBay. They've been watching the prices themselves. Apparently when Liza Minelli played there touts managed to get the entire second row, which they then couldn't sell because they priced them too high, so the row remained empty for the show. Afterwards I headed on to see an old school friend who I haven't seen for a couple of years. In the course of the conversation they offered me a spare ticket for U2 at Don Valley!! They only wanted two, but got four so they could pass on the spares to friends at face value to spread the love. Aren't people nice. | |

| Hi everyone, my friends and I are planning a trip to Ireland this July, and the trip is going to surely include Scotland and England too. I've been dying to see Elbow live finally, so I searched to see if they'll be playing. Sure enough it's the gig on 7/9 I could make. Naturally, it is sold out!!! Just my luck. Does anyone know of any extra tickets floating around at face value? And what is face value for these tickets? Thanks for any help! | |

| Hi, The Halle tix were £15, £25 and £42.50. They are probably the most sought after tickets right now and lots of people are desperate for them. There are some being sold on ebay for OUTRAGEOUS sums of money. I would suggest keeping an eye on the forum in case someone has a spare. Hope you have a great trip otherwise. xxx | |

| I imagine if you find some rocking horse poo sprinkled with gold dust you may find some face value Halle tickets underneath. First though, I'd suggest you post here instead | |

| yep some arses appear to be still at it on ebay. http://www.scarletmist.com/ or here would be fairer. I thought it had quietened down, (apart from the greedy 'Buy it Nows' dirty business secondary ticketers on ebay who are presumably the 'third party ticket agencies' quoted in the standard email being sent out by the Head of Marketing at the Bridgewater Hall. Liam_1981 has circle F48 and F49 for the thursday. These tickets were originally bought by Mr Humphrey....his name is on the tickets in the photo , the ones issued by Quay have the purchasers name on. ending in 5 days...if it was me, don't inflate the price by bidding against each other too early, its a watching and waiting game, make sure you are at a computer for the end of bidding and go for it then. | |

Can you not get to Oxegen on the 11th? You can get a day ticket and you'll get a whole heap of other bands as well. Just a suggestion as I reckon your chances of getting tickets for this one are very, very slim indeed.
