NEW ARENA SHOWS

Whoop, I'm getting very excited, Birmingham tonight!!

What's this new track like people? up tempo or slow & mello? got a ring or hook to it?

If i cast my mind back, they debuted Mexican Stand-off at the shepherds bush empire farewell gig (cast of promo cycle...) and it struck me instantly...

Quite up tempo, the only lyric that stuck in my head is something like, 'seems to me that everyone's ignoring me'. Had trumpets and similar guitar part from mark to what he plays in grounds for divorce.

Liverpool was brilliant, one of the strongest sets I've seen them play with Grace Under Pressure being the best song of the night. Crowd seemed to have a few off moments (No cheers to Guys wonderful "Are we having the time of our lives?"!?) but overall still fantastic bring on Manchester!!

So excited to see them at the O2 arena tomorrow! For anyone who's been to the O2 arena before, how early do you recommend getting there for a decent standing spot? Or how early are other board members going to be lining up tomorrow?

When we saw them at the O2 last March, we only joined the queue about an hour before doors open (18.30) and we still managed to be right by the barrier. Planning on doing the same tomorrow.

I went into O2 last time &no queue at door,I watched villagers from sky awards bar&still got my spot front potterside.Am going tomorrow,still not sure of my tactics,still floating from Nottingham,cannot effin wait!!love that they make me feel ridiculously teenage xx

Ah excellent to hear! My sister and I will probably try to get there around 5:00 then. It will be great to see other ERO members there (hopefully up front too!)

Thanks to for sharing the pics. I'm very jealous of everyone attending these shows, but hope that everyone has a great time. I can't wait for the boys to hit the USA again.

Station Approach was added into the Manchester Setlist, it was stunning! Sad to see the end of the BARB tour (for me at least, others still have the O2 to look forward to!) but five fantastic gigs and excited for the future (loving the new song even more a second time!).

Can't wait for O2!! I was seated at Wembley - just not the same. Although there was one dude near me dancing his ass off - legend.

Not sure what time I'll be getting there yet but even at all the big arena shows, like the guys have said already, barely anyone's turned up before about an hour before doors open! I should really be Potterside again but kinda tempted by the end of the catwalk... further away in general but the barrier is a LOT closer there, so it's superb when the band all gather there.

EDIT: End of the catwalk also means being close to the string quartet. I was so gutted that I missed them at Wembles - couldn't get away from work early enough to see them! *grump*

If anyone is en route to O2, I can confirm no queue at present near Entrance F. Dr P and I are only silly beggars suffering the cold for last 90 minutes!

If anyone is interested, I will do another sync/stitch/edit job for the whole Manchester gig if there enough video and I can find a good audio source. Despite being in a prime spot sound wise, my recording went all funny
