| Amazingly, we still have our sombreros! A security guy actually returned them to us after the gig, if you can believe it. Maybe it was out of pity for our rubbish throwing...unlike Ticky's Olympic-standard sombrero effort, mine sailed feebly towards the stage, crashed into a monitor and fell into the pit.

It was truly superb! I am very jealous of all the folk going to Cambridge. Hope you all have a splendid time!

| I've been thinking (dangerous, I know) and chatting to a few folks and the main priority for us is getting there and getting in the queue!
If we get there before the queue forms, we'll just go to the nearest bar (Nusha?). Feel free to join us but we won't be offended if you want to do your own thing I'm in for a drink afterwards but need to be back in work the following morning (gotta get out of IT!) so we won't stop for a meal
Hopefully bump into some friends (old and new) at some stage
Here's to a great night | |

| We haven't actually got tickets and are collecting from a very kind lady there so does anyone know from the tickets what time the doors open? | |

| Same here sparky - drink afterwards would be good but I'm travelling back for work the following morning too! I'm gonna be around in Cambridge from ~2pm to have a wander first before queueing up. I think a few of you might still have my number from previous gigs so give me a shout if you want to meet up. I don't have a sombrero but I'm sure you'll be able to spot me in the queue as I'll be sporting my usual 'Elbow fan disguised as a Muse fan' outfit. (C'mon lads, bring out an Elbow bag please!!) | |

Also note that in the past I've sometimes had to collect tickets from the box office, and sometimes from the venue itself. Sorry. I'm not really helping here am I? I'm sure it will all work out fine in the end

| to all the people who are planning to queue - the Junction is tiny and you will get a great view anywhere unless you too are tiny. I live in Cambridge and have been to the junction many many times, it is based on the Leisure Park which is a s**thole but you can get a drink in the bowling alley and Nusha (if it's open, it isn't always on weekdays).
The Emporer is the nearest decent pub and I can confirm the jukebox is great because my sister runs the pub. I'll get her to ensure there are many Elbow tunes on there for tomorrow night.
Stage times as far as I understand it are 8:15 - 10:30 so a long old set by the looks of it.
I think it's the 3rd time I will have seen them there but could be wrong.
enjoy all | |

| No worries. I haven't read this whole thread but if there is anyone thinking of trying to get a ticket on the day from a tout then I would save yourself the journey. I don't think I have ever seen a tout at the junction!
Saw The Flying Pig mentioned too, it's close and it's alright so wouldn't put anyone off it. Used to be a dump but has been refurbed and is alright these days even if the locals are an interesting lot. Probably worth the extra 5 minutes to The Emporer to see the round pool table and jukebox.

| Not sure what time i'll arrive in Cambridge but it would be great to meet up before or after the show and put faces to names.
Perhaps someone could PM me with a phone number so that I can call and find out where everybody is going.
Thanks.
