| If there is one... would it be terribly irresponsible to go to it while heavily pregnant? (Please say no, lol.) | |

| I heard that there's going to be a warm up gig. Don't know where or when. I got a text from a mate who's normally pretty good with these things. It said 'I know you're a big Elbow fan so keep your eyes & ears on the press as they're expected to announce a small gig before the album & tour'. It may just be speculation as they've done it before. Guess we'll just have to wait & see. | |

good spot! thanks for that... tickets on sale friday morning... :-D Yer welcome pal - rather splendid, location wise, for you ! indeed it is... we don't often get many "warm-up" gigs in newcastle... they're not playing any gigs this far north (in england) on the April tour so i had secretly hoped they'd play the academy...

| If it had happened to be in London I would probably have risked it, but don't think I could hack travelling that far alone when I'm 9 months preggers. Sad panda. Hope all the rest of you that want tickets get them easy enough! | |

| Hmm, it's a bit close to my birthday so it would be rude not to go... I'll see how the fan pre-sale ticket grab goes. | |

| It's very disappointing that they've done that. It just opens the door for the touts.
On a more positive note, I got a ticket. :-)

| No luck for us. Ridiculous situation alerting the entire world via Twitter about a fan pre-sale before fans can get a look in. Whoever looks after their social media needs their arse kicking. | |

| The e-mails were sent out last night, I got mine along with others (confirmed on twitter), it clearly had the link to the pre-sale, this was around 7.15pm.
Secondly, you're all focused on the fan pre sale, you do all realise that O2 have a priority sale as well for this show, and tickets are still available (I grabbed mine from there this morning)
Putting the link on twitter makes no difference to touts, they already know the links long before they get posted, it's what they do, at least putting the link on twitter helped a few people out who claim they didn't get the e-mail last night.
Oh, yes and you can purchase in the general sale on Friday where there will be a much bigger allocation of tickets (the pre-sale is only a very small allocation 400 tickets)
