| It's most inconvenient - I sold my spare ticket to a fellow boardie and now won't be able to send it to them before the gig, grrrrr.
Anyone else affected? I have to wonder if they've just done this to everyone.

| Well if it is an effort to stamp out the touts, it hasn't worked very well. All the touts on ebay have theirs in hand! | |

| Not sure if he's managed to get rid already, but I was shouted on Twitter 4 hours ago by @vonbeeblehoffen who had 2 spare face value Cambridge tickets up for grabs. I've tried getting in touch to check if he's still got them, but he must be off at the moment. Might be worth a try if anyone's got a Twitter account and still wants to try to grab those elusive tickets. (And that sounds well crap about yours, Ticky & Kim. ) | |

| it's odd they printed some.... and they're just generic SEE tickets from one of their own printers, hideous orangey things I've seen many times before.
Presumably they were just waiting for the venue/promoter permission to print them out and post them? maybe they ran out of orange dye and cardboard...

| It's rubbish as I bet you paid a ridiculous amount for postage, which is no longer needed. I wish more bands would start using MusicGlue for e-tickets, it would make life a lot easier. | |

Spot on - and yet I think they hide it all in the booking fee and transaction fee so there is no "delivery fee" to claim back. Basts!

| Anybody fancy meeting for a drink before Cambridge? Or if nobody wants to meet us for a drink (quite understandable), can anyone recommend a pub / venue combination? Bridgewater Hall / Britons Protection may be hard to beat but I live in hope We are leaving Lancs early afternoon so should be there well before tea In order to avoid confusion, teatime in Lancashire is about 6 ish. Dinner is just after 12, not after tea Cheers sparky | |

| I'd love to meet up afterwards - I'm intending on being in the queue fairly early on. In fact, I'm up for a real party afterwards - I don't have to catch the train until 11am the next morning. | |

| I'm open to suggestions before/after the gig. I'll be there early afternoon and was hoping to do a little wandering (not been to Cambridge before!) but no plans other than that. Wonder if the Junction has any pubs nearby? Wouldn't a repeat of the group forum pic with the Potter lads be wonderful... | |

| I've only been to the Junction once before for I am Kloot, and didn't have time to go for a drink or eat beforehand then...just walked up from the train station straight to The Junction which sits in a small leisure park (bowling alley, cinema, fast food, a bar called Nusha and Travelodge) just outside the centre of Cambridge. There's one pub quite close, The Earl of Derby, up on Hills Rd on the way from the station, theres also the Flying Pig, 10 minutes down Hills road much nearer to the train station, and then the Nusha cocktail bar in the leisure complex so don't know how noisy/lively/busy that gets on a wednesday pre-gig... if its a quieter drink and chat preferred. the link shows some of the food options nearby anyway http://www.viewcambridge.co.uk/pubsandbars/the-junction-info-17724.html | |

| the earl of derby is a bit of a dive, I know since I went there before the wedding present in december! been a few years since I went to the flying pig, but I gather it's still fairly decent, could be a contender for pre-gig meet. post-gig I too would be up for drinks / food. not entirely sure of midweek latenight foodoptions but I do know the saffron brasserie is open til midnight (sounds posh, but is actually down-to-earth curry house). oh and I just opened my email to find a 'happy birthday from elbow' message... nice one lads! | |
