Andy_landy made a good point on another thread - he joked that he doesn't mind sombreros as long as they're not blocking his view. If there are tons of us with sombreros, won't we be making it a lot more difficult for everyone behind us to see? I for one am planning on being at the front too!

I think we all agreed that we would only have the sombreos on during Mexican Standoff.

And totally agree the whole band should wear them!!! Think they would?

The lads have a great sense of humour so I'm sure they would!

Don't know if even just one song wouldn't piss people off though...

If they don't play MS I guess we'd just put them on for one of the other songs, ideally something as inappropriate as possible. Guy gets his fun with dedicating inappropriate songs (The Stops to the couple at Delamere just after he read out their engagement proposal!) so we should too!

Might be difficult to keep the sombreros hidden too until the right time... unless there's a bunch of us at the front where we could keep them down by our feet against the barrier.

Maybe the other people in the audience will think it's part of the show...

You'll need to get loads for that to work i wore one to my first gig, as i was just back from tenerife i only wore it for the start of starlings to see Guy's face when he comes out confronted by a sombrero-wearing teenager He giggled, so it was worth the daggers i received from the poor members of the audience directly behind me

This sample sombrero from a well-known auction site passed all our rigorous, extensive consumer tests (i.e. it fits, will act as a frisbee thrown stagewards and can easily be converted into a party nacho hat with handy integral dip bowl if anyone gets hungry afterwards).

Very impressive mate, but maybe instead of having nacho's on top of your dome, you could have bottles of Sol with lime ? Food and gigs just aint my thing.

You could almost be a Scouser looking like that.....

The Sol with lime would also need a funnel reaching to your mouth so you don't have the trouble of removing it from the dome and possible spillage.

If we have Sol we have to have nachos too....
