| Oh why isn't he playing anywhere in Hampshire, he did Southampton Guildhall last time. The closest venue is either Bexhill or London and I can't go . On a lighter note I can't wait for the new album. Maybe next time Mr Hawley. | |

| I love Richard Hawley's music, meltingly romantic! As I'm sure others here were, I went to see Elbow last year in the forest, and Richard Hawley guested on the Fix, just made it a real special night, am looking forward to his new album.. | |

| I'd love to see him live, but with seeing Elbow and Kasabian later, funds won't allow it, but one day I will..would REALLY love to see him when he does his winter gig in the Derbyshire cave.. The Devil's Arse.. I hope you have a great time Grant.. | |

| That would be good.. no rush!! Are you in Richard Hawley facebook group? they are pretty good with updates of info on him.. Just found this: " The first track to be taken from the album will be the single, For Your Lover Give Some Time, to be released on Mute and available digitally from 10th August. The single is a bittersweet vignette depicting internal tensions in a perennial love affair, has Richard singing a confessional lyric over a light-footed arrangement of cello and violin. It is easily the most humorous track on the album, with a hint of the biting Gallic sarcasm of a Brel or Gainsbourg."

| Got tickets to see him at the Liverpool Philharmonic hall in October. Saw him there a few years ago and he was superb. Best thing is that the venue is all seated so you don't get groups of wankers standing around talking and playing with mobile phones. I deliberately avoided his last tour as the venues were all standing and you never get to hear the music because there is some gorm stood next to you who is more interested in talking to his mates. | |

I couldn't agree more. Here is a 15 second clip of the new single: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Your-Lover-Give-Some-Time/dp/B002IMMZ9C/ref=dm_ap_trk28 | |
