I'm just listening to Finest Hour now, really enjoyed the song. And how awesome that you not only got a SFG played but also inspired the weekly theme!!

| Fantastic stuff BlueJW !! Wow !! Really pleased for you.
And here's me pleased that I got a mention on 6music last Sunday, praising the Bridgewater shows off some (admittedly very good) female DJ that I can't think the name of !!

| A whole two hour show about the moon and not a single mention of "Mantra Luna". A wasted opportunity... | |

| A question to all those who record the show or liked to do this. Have you tried "audacity"? It seems to work quite well, but I tested just a minute. I normally use the "realtek" recorder and some use the freehighq-recorder which disfunctions quite often (the recording sounds like a broken CD) So maybe the audacity recorder could be a good alternative against the freehq.... | |

| Sat listening to the Finest Hour last night and Guy played one of my favourite all time records. It was by Kate Bush called Under the Ivy. Nice one! Would have been even better had I requested it but hey-ho didn't need to! | |

| See we do listen to it, when we feel we can "cope" he's been known to play some very emotive tracks. To Build a Home still ranks up there as weepy-ville with me! That and Adem - Love and Other Planets I've not been able to listen for a little while, but i saw yesterdays play list... looks damn good, as every! I still think Foreign Slippers would be right up Garve's Alley, but he's so far not played her. If you like Jesca Hoop, check her out, heart breakingly beautiful! | |

| I've just been mooching around the Finest Hour website - I can't believe how many ERO members' pictures are up on his board - I think Kim's there twice. I can recognise Mrs Woman and Tamed Lamia - is there anyone else there that I don't recognise?! | |

| I am a bit frustrated about my surfstick. Tried to listen (and record) actual finest hour but it dropped out all the time I might try the W-lan at the tourist information center but I don't know if they have a fuse...so if anyone records it too...think of me please! (I can recommend "audacity" for recording!!) | |

| Well, mostly when I had connection difficulties it was just the iplayer but today I don't get the bbc website at all. All other websites I checked work well, I just listen to the podcast from Absolute Radio without problems (only a few times browsing breaks but it works) But maybe the problem will sort out too, at least I have more time this week to listen than last week... | |

| Still no connection. By now I can browse the bbc-sites again but it goes very slowly. The iplayer opens but all you see is that "beach ball of death" turning and turning and turning.... I just hope it will be sorted out until next sunday, when I'm at my parents. I hope my dad did not knock out the W-LAN again because it is then the last chance to listen to the actual show... | |

| Tried it at my parent's flat, my dad said he came in but I still can't get a connection. It is jinxed. All my net friends I asked get in, I even got in shortly with my old Linux Notebook but could not listen on because I had to leave the flat for an appointment. When I tried with my father's notebook I neither got in!! It can not be a problem of the provider because I made it with the linux one but it neither can be a windows problem because other people got in with windows. The strange thing is, browsing to the bbc-sites takes minutes until they open, while on my office computer the sites open fastly even though they are java blocked. The iplayer of course does not open because of the java block. But I get at least there but not on my *nastyswear* notebook I asked at Ning if someone could record the show for me or download it at thebox.bz and if anyone here can do it I would be glad... | |

| Had another try with my brandnew "Thinkpad" I just bought today but still the same problem. Some netfriends had some problems too but only for a short time. I wonder if this problem might come from the BBC-site...as I said, I can browse any site well, I can listen to all internetradios I know but I can't listen to Garv's show and browsing the bbc-sites goes very very slow... | |

| Anyone have any luck with song for guy request? I am up to 8 now with no luck.
Don't think it can depend on tracks I choose because looking at the play lists from previous programmes my choice fits in very well.
