It's a great programme-I listen to it...

I've caught it a couple of times over t'internet. Wish he was on Radio 2 instead of the brain-dead likes of Steve Wright... but then I'd get nothing done at work.

I've caught it quite a few times as well (streaming online)...it comes on at 4 p.m. TX time, which makes for lovely Sunday afternoon listening. Great accompaniment for sipping bloody Marys and playing bocci ball in the backyard on a perfect Spring afternoon...

I also listen (when I can) via the web. Same deal as you, Julie -- it comes on in the late afternoon/early evening here, and I can't sit and listen to it then. I usually play it in the background later on at night as I'm working and/or playing around on the PC, after the kid's in bed. Always good stuff on there!

Anyone watched the video on his homepage? It's good.

I am on that video!!! I am in the queue of fans. I am the tall lad with very short ginger hair who says 'evening' as Guy goes past! On reflection I should have said "Guy!!! How's it going mate!!" Nobody else around me knew it was Garvey after he had gone. Ahh the what ifs...

Was still pretty cool though!

Well, I remember, when I was on the last gig in Berlin Guy went by and after he was gone I was thinking "GOSH, that was HE...the Garve..."
But I guess if I was in the queue on the video I might have give a little squeek or a beepy "oyyy Guyyy"

instead of making a new thread, i just had to post in here,

i usually to tired to listen to Guys shows on sundays as i'm working and stuff, so i listen in the week instead.
anyway i had a listen to last sundays finest hour yesterday and he played "feeling good" by My Brightest Diamond and it blew me away! soooo good. anyone else liked that song?

It's great, the whole compilation it's from is great!

Sundays Finest Hour was ace!

I've had a bit of spare time this week and listened to it three or four times!

Loved the Leisure Society single, ordering the CD on the strength of that and The Last of The Melting Snow which was a fave late last year.
Loved the new version of White Horses by Dean and Britta, psychedelic bliss.
Loved Doubtful Comforts by Blue Roses, what a voice that girl has got, reminded me of early Kate Bush.
And of course all the old favourites like Cream, Genesis and the ever wonderful Inkspots.

Arrrrgh...have not been able to get the online replay of Guy's last show all week long! Don't know if it's an issue with my PC or what, but I am getting nervous I might miss it altogether if I can't get it working before Sunday. Damn and blast!

I've had bother with it too. It worked fine for the first 20 minutes or so, then it crashed my pc and I haven't been able to get it back since

I've never seen it... what kinda music does he play? is it any good? Since its Guy Garvey we are talking about im guessing yes.

It's a radio show so none of us have actually seen it
