| Couldn't get to work today because of the snow so watched TCD about 50 times!! I can't stop! It's just beautiful. What do you think Guy is saying to Pete at the end of it?

Absolutely beautiful live performance. I live outside of the UK, so I'm unable to view the performance but I'll be waiting impatiently for the box set now. I really hope the CD doesn't sound like this. I can't see this passing the TurnMeUp! certification, the compression is horrid, so much so that I started listening to Starlings and had to stop. I think I'll wait eagerly for the CD! urgh... compression

You can't expect the finest quality from a 65-66kbps radio stream, can you?

| Yeah I know, I expect that the compression is applied by the BBC more than whoever mastered the recording anyway, as both Radio 1 and 2 are heavily compressed for broadcast.
It's so disappointing on Starlings though, I had the stereo up nice and loud, waiting for the massive brass to come in and blow me away, and it just whimpered.

| I watched it all of Sunday on loop, bless the red button, finally it has something to offer me. It was amazing and so emotional, TCD I cried throughout. Now I can't wait for the DVD!! I wish I was in that audience that gig will go down in history! | |

| Lol, has anyone else noticed that Richard Jupp has pretty much destroyed his fluffy drumsticks during Tower Crane? He looks at them at the end with a "did I do that?" expression on his face At around 35:50 Actually, there are some great expressions throughout, from Jupp's looks of surprise, to the choir's looks of pure joy, Guy and Pete's grins at each other and the percussionist's looks of boredom. Oh, and the fat woman with the trumpet who played Summertime has some good ones as well. Also, the point where Guy is censored in Some Riot seems to only apply to his audio stream, and if you listen really carefully you can actually hear the word "f*ckers* on someone elses mic. | |

Jupp looks like a funny bastard through out i did note the sticks were messed up, and also his singing expression towards the end of ODLT are priceless I also love it at the end of some songs when Guy stands there waiting for them to finish; tilting his head and looking up

I love the knowing wink or satisfied grin he shoots him at the end of a couple of them too. I think my favourite grin is Pete's just after the climax of Grounds though. Can't blame him - absolutely exhilarating!
