He is class live. State of the Union live is perhaps the best song i seen done live by anyone. His albums arent too bad either, however he does swear a lot on the first album.

Agreed. He played it straight on Friday (ie without looping, with band) for the first time ever. A privilege to see without doubt. No where near as much fun tho!

I've only recently stumbled on his stuff through Last.fm. He's very talented with a wonderful sound & style, so would go to one of his gigs if there are any coming up for the North-West.

Have a look for his three '... Electrical Sketchbook' EPs which have been released to iTunes this week. Truly beautiful...

I saw him supporting Rodrigo y Gabriela at the end of '07, I thought he was quite good but never remembered to follow up on his music!

Ford is amazing. A truly genuine guy as well. Live on his own, he has very few if any one who can compare. He does these charity gigs every year called Milk and Cookies where he performs the most bizarre cover versions. Check out the site below for lots and lots of bootlegs of his :

Agreed. I think there are still a few tickets left for his Bloomsbury Theatre show in September. You should all check him out.

you should go down to lewes / eastbourne. I missed M+C last year because it clashed with the James tour, but did pretty much all of them for the past four years. The Lewes / Eastbourne ones are always a little extra bit special.
