It's been rotating on my iPod all day. Stephen breaks my heart a little more every time I hear it. Call To Arms is superb too. Sod it, the whole thing is.

I downloaded it this morning and had to wait until I got home to listen to it.

It's simply astonishing. Favourites so far Waiting For The Storm, Surfin Guantanamo Bay and then there's the beautiful To hell with the world. Damn the whole thing.

£4.49. You all need to buy this album seriously. And then get his prior two Songs For The Road and I Sincerely Apologise for all the trouble i've caused.

he did the most serious amazing cover of Paranoid Android at one of his christmas charity gigs last December

note - David isn't a "covers" artist. He does a series of charity gigs every December called Milk and Cookies where he plays some of his own songs, some songs that have impacted on him during the year (people he's supported etc) and some covers - he's done Bat Out Of Hell, Stan, In The Air Tonight, Nothing Compares To U (on a church organ) and even a couple of songs chosen at random by the audience from the Book of 100 Number 1 singles and the guide to British Hit Singles.

His new album is phenomenal. For £4.49 you really serious can't go wrong. Except you'll end up buying all his other stuff as well.
