| Quite happy to see them play anything to be honest, but as the Gateshead gig is going to be my first Elbow live experience, I'll be gutted if they don't do Switching Off and Great Expectations.
And then I'd like to see them slip in some new unplayed song that is so good, it muscles its way in alongside those classics on my favourite Elbow playlist.

In fact - I've just had a look at my ticket and realised that I'll be on the front row!! Am frankly over excited!! Having thought about it a bit more, as well as Tower Crane, Some Riot and Powder Blue I NEED to hear Fugitive Motel and Swithching Off!!

| Newborn is pretty much a permanent fixture in the setlist. Mexican Standoff was played live on the Leaders of the Free World Tour. Brilliant it was, too. | |

| Folks who went to Delamere will remember Mexican Standoff as well, complete with die-hard types in the first 15 deep wearing sombreros. I loved it when someone chucked one up on stage and Guy wore it for a bit, complete with daft facial expressions.
Anyway...I'm with Emma G, I also need to hear Fugitive Motel.
Any suggestions for daft encore songs at this stage?

| hmmm, Newcastle got 'switching off' last night for the first time this tour, and that made a couple of people on here very happy. Dare I mention 'Mcgreggor' for Liverpool ? for someone who keeps managing to miss it ? | |

| Mexican Standoff is great live. Guy was looking right at me during it at Wolverhampton ( well for about 6 seconds) so its now one of my favourites. I loved it when Guy asked 'Any Mexicans in the audience' and some guy shouts 'Lets have a standoff' brilliant! | |
