| A few years later than expected, Peter Gabriel's follow-up to Scratch My Back, And I'll Scratch Yours, will be out on September 23rd. Elbow's contribution, "Mercy Street," was released three years ago as a single. Now it has an album home. I'm not surprised by Radiohead's absence from All I'll Scratch Yours, but I am surprised by Arcade Fire's appearance as it was reported (at the time) they weren't interested in the project at all. Since I only bought one of the And I'll Scratch Yours singles (Elbow's, naturally), and several went unreleased, I'll have to add this album to my collection. | |

| I wish there was a 7-inch released of this song. Elbow's cover of 'Mercy Street' is beautiful and one of my favorites. | |
