| Yes Chrissie I loved the night , rain and getting out part was fine really. Loved the set list and I loved the fireworks but like you I didn't think it worked with that track. Scattered Black and Whites is such a beautiful song , it needs to be enjoyed in a quiet way. (in my expert opinion) ha ha but that's just me being a picky bigger ! | |

Not picky at all, it really didn't seem to fit from the video I saw, and I'd imagine that being there live and hearing that great booming noise would've been even tougher to take during that number in particular. But there you go, it obviously didn't ruin the show or the experience for anyone so that's the important thing! Glad you had such a great time!

| The fireworks were great, especially as we were stood directly in line for them. Not 100% sure but they may have been timed with the music? | |

| I'm a little late I know. Just to say my and the hubby had a fabulous time at Jodrell Bank. An amazing day out. Lianne La Havas was the best support for me (new album great too) although really enjoyed Field Music. Everyone has pretty much said it all regarding the organisation and getting out of the place and even the rain couldn't dampen the night. The chain smoker standing next to us was a pain in the xxxx, but apart from that a great gig. We didn't see or bump into any familiar faces but we weren't at the very front, just by the runway to the left of stage and to take camping chairs was pure luxury. Again the setlist a little predictable, please some old stuff a request if anyone' listening but yes another great Elbow occasion. | |

| Lynne!!! I didn't know you were there!!! You were fairly close to us in distance, but there must have been a few hundred people between us.
Actually, the fireworks REALLY pissed me off - right in the middle of S B A W. Obviously someone got the timing wrong, they should have gone off in oDLT.
Wonderful night, glorious music, fab people, shitty hangover, loved Lianne LeHavas, nasty pie, unbelievable weather. Can we do it again please?!
Hi Chrissie - lovely to hear from you! xxx

Hi Chrissie - lovely to hear from you! xxx Hiya, Ticky! Glad to see you're enjoying some lovely gigs this summer, wish I could say the same for myself but no such luck! And can I just say that "Nasty Pie" would be an awesome name for a band.

| Ah Lynne! Can't believe we didn't see you! Hopefully we'll catch you next time... I personally agree SB&W was not the right time for fireworks but it was not a timing error: it was def planned but indeed maybe during ODLT would have been better... Chrissie, you were sorely missed! Nasty Pie is indeed a great name for a band but I had Nasty Fish which reminded me of an old 80s band because it kept making come-backs... Had a great, great couple of days thanks to all you lovely people, espesh Ticky for her hospitality and company and Mrs W for the brews! | |

| The only thing I've seen recently is this -- someone asks about it on Facebook, and the person in charge of Jodrell Bank's social media presence says: "Still waiting ourselves I'm afraid." That was back on May 23rd. The band's sabbatical is undoubtedly the issue. They were laying down tracks before Christmas during their studio time, and they may not have had time to listen to the Jodrell Bank recordings, mix the sound, and cut the visuals. And if they did get them sorted, scattering to the four ends of the Earth would impede everyone signing off on the final product. My fear is that when the band reconvenes, they may decide that the moment for the Jodrell Bank DVD has passed. | |

| Given there was no way I could get there, I'm hopeful...but this seems bigger and more mysterious than a DVD release. But if I'm wrong, here's hoping for BluRay! | |

| MOJO has the scoop -- Album 6 is due out on March 10. Also announced is the Live at Jodrell Bank CD/DVD set (which by Elbow's website appears to be shipping imminently) and a British arena tour. | |

| I'm confused, an article on the guardian website said the Jodrell Bank DVD was released yesterday, but on the Elbow website it looks like you can only order it with the new album, but surely that means it isn't out until march? | |

No I think on the official site it says that after you've placed your order, the DVD will be sent immediately and the new album will come your way in March.
