| Still Glasvegas for me, tunes on that album have really touched me....."It's my own cheating heart that makes me cry", "Go Square Go", "Daddy's Gone", "Flowers and football Tops".......Kasabian's is really good, and yes, you can't help but love Tom and Serge and they were magnificent in Manchester recently, lets be honest, Fire will not be touched all year, single wise, but the subjects touched on by Glasvegas, well, can hit home with a lot of people........... | |

| Nope. Don't agree. All of Glasvegas' songs sond a like to me. ".....blah, blah, blahhh...OH! OH! OH! OHH!!!" "Blaahhhhh...blah, blah...OH!OH!OHHHHHH!!!!!" "OH! OH! OH! Blah, blah, blah...OH! OH! OH!!!!" I don't know. Saw them a while back and wasn't that impressed, where as Kasabian...that's God's music. Let the battle begin!!! | |

| Having said that, don't think either will win.........reckon it'll be Bat for friggin' Lashes or Florence and her bloody machine.
Oh for the days of Elbow, Klaxons and Pulp being triumphant.....(sob)....

| If La Roux wins....and Bat for Lashes? She sounds like Clannad!!! Ugh. Not much of a selection this year. | |

| Hey SG, don't worry about it, I like a bit of good natured banter...we all have our likes and dislikes !!
Just be grateful that Lily Allen, who was tipped to be on the shortlist, was excluded !! Totally agree, this years list is totally uninspiting in general. Danny La Roux, yeah, nice image, but poor songs in my humble opinion.

Actually I heard a radio interview with La Roux and she sounds like a very nice girl. Just don't like her music.
Oh, God...PLEASE let it be Kasabian!!!

| I don't know. It's another one of those bands where everyone goes on about how brilliant they are, and some very impressive people are fans of theirs, and I just don't hear it. I mean, I don't hate them, thye're alright, but I don't understand why everyone thinks they're so good. To me the choice is obvious. It's a no brainer to me. WRPLA is like being invited to a fancy dress party from One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest. | |

Not easy at all I'm afraid I live in-between Southampton and Winchester and I know my Mum won't let me go there. Ah well. And I'm broke lol. Cheers for the invite anyway. I have eyes for Serge only, but if Tom was always looking like he did in the Empire video..well
