| It is true that the albums get better and better. West Ryder, I'm not kidding, is now in my top 5 albums of all time. | |

| Though I don't know if I can listen to Kasabian right now... because that'd mean I'd have to stop listening to Elbow. | |

| Well the only one I've heard of is Crime and Punishment, but they're playing characters and he did write one called The Idiot, could this be it? Or maybe The Gambler? Damn the small lettering and my eyes | |

It is driving me crazy. There's nothing for it. We will just have to ask them.

| I finally listened to Empire and WRLPA. Probably prefer Empire overall on a first listen, even if Fire is a storming ch00n. ^_^ | |

| It took a few listens before I liked Fire or Vlad. But now I think they're "Empire!". And I adore the new album. I think it takes some people by surprise cos it's so different from their older stuff. Give it some more time.
GO KASABIA N!!! | |

| In my opinion Kasabian are the only good band nominated. What an insult to them that the competition isn't worthy of them. | |

Haha yeah! I quite like The Horrors and Bats for Lashes and Florence and the Machine have really grown on me, but Kasabian are the best out of the entire group, the worthy winners. The bands I've heard out of the list are trying to be different, but most aren't meeting the mark. Sergio's musicianship is that of someone who is double his age, all the ideas, and also each song is different and takes you to the most random places. Individually each member is fab and in my opinion Tom is the best front man since Jagger. Hopefully Kasabian will win and be a huge surprise like Elbow End of rant

| Ditto!!! What did Serge say about Take Aim? Like it was the soundtrack to a film - like visiting several countries in 4 minutes. In a werid way WRPLA reminds me of TSSK and I think they are two sides of the same coin. Each song seguays into the other - and they are all part of a journey, full of different characters and places. It is a masterpiece. I hope they win. The other bands' music sound like an after thought. | |

| Totally agree there. When ever I listen to either records I get like a film running in my head of the events described in the songs, which I can only really get with a selection of albums. Funnily enough both records in my top 5 Keeping fingers and toes crossed for them. | |

| I can't wait to hear their acceptance speech. I know they will win. I bet Tom will say "Thanks for this, 'bout bloody time!" | |

Or "This is mega, cheers." Short and sweet. I dunno whether Serge would be quite shy, drunk or quite long winded (the speech) We shall see.
