Next wednesday my Professor and I will clear, what to do next. I guess it will be the antibodies again, they are easy to get because they can go over my port and they don't make much trouble. The doctor at the x-ray institute was even slightly optimistic that the last treatment still goes through the body and the monster might leave soon...
At least it goes to the right direction again and I can start soon to make nice plans again...

Ok folks. Today I talked with the surgeon. The monster can be taken out but as I thought it will be a quite big operation. I will be in hospital ca. 14 days and will need a few weeks/months for recovering. But before that I can go to South Tyrol to make my lung stronger with fresh mountain air and I can go to Elbow to make my happiness stronger...

Hi folks, good news, I am allowed to use my "surfstick" so I can tell you some news from time to time.
If anything goes as planned I will have the surgery on Thursday. Tomorrow I will get bronchoscopy, hope there will be no problems. And I hope they can takes some blood because my port only worked for infusions but not for giving blood this time

HI folks, the worst part is done, surgery was on 4th, they had to take out the upper part of the right lung but thanx to modern painkillers I am quite fine now.
Had some problems with my surfstick but now I made it work again and I listened to Garve's Finest Hour today.
Keep your fingers crossed that the painkillers work fine tonight because I got my spine katheter removed and will take the medicine now oral or via normal injection.
There's still a big drain tube in my side and I hope they can remove that soon too.

Hi friends, I'm getting better and better. Yesterday they removed the drain from my chest and it feels a lot better now to move without those huge tubes, especially at night.
The painkillers work well but the last days I had a lot pain in my scapula and could not sit for longer time on my table. Now I took the laptop back to my bed and sitting leaned against a big pillow it is a lot better. I hope that pain will stop soon.
Next week I will go home. And if anything goes well, I will be on rehab in two weeks, again at the same place I was last winter.
I hope, my sweet new car will arrive before I go to rehab so I can at least baptise it with some bubbly

tomorrow I will go home
Practiced to go upstairs today so I hope it will not be too hard to get in the fourth floor to my parent's flat.
I just hope I find a good method to sit on my laptop, because at home I don't have those nice beds that you can change into a kind of chair.
On 7th July I will go to the rehab and I hope that I don't need much painkillers anymore when I'm back from there.
Btw, the hospital food is quite good, today they had "Matjes herring" which is one of my fave food. Last saturday they had "Bami Goreng" which was very tasty too.

Fantastic news Katrin - I am absolutely thrilled for you!! AND Bami Goreng - slightly different from the national health over hear!!!! Indonesian, isn't it?
