| Following the disappointment of the book it was great to get some new material and information rather than stuff that's been around for ages.
We were all on the telly (again) at some stage (sad use of pause button and a late night for mr and mrs sparky) but Kim's mate Dave, evad on this forum, was on screen more than Melvyn Bragg!
Well done SBS | |

| Aye, spotted you Sparky and the whole cast of - erm - dozens. I reckon Longlegs and her mates must be in line for the most replay royalties though. Good on yer! Nice to see Irshad Ashraf - the guy who directed the Cuba tour film - listed as Producer (or Director, sorry it was late) for the show. Apparently there's no plans to release the Cuba doc, so if you want more than those few clips you might have to start your own campaign. | |

What's the latest on this then mrswoman? - I first asked Irshad about the possibility of his film being shown to a wider audience, after the Elbow/Soup Collective DVD launch of LOTFW at the NFT in July 2005. I'd happened to see it mentioned on Marc Riley's BBC6 Music messageboard early 2005 as being shown by Irshad at a 'Shooting People' event in London, about making films. Middles says in his biography that it was shown at a variety of festivals in late 2004 too, can anyone verify that? I never heard of anyone seeing it anywhere else, (apart from inner circles, of course)

| I'm still on a bit of a high after watching that. I've only ever really seen Guy talking, so it was great to hear the other members of the band.
Which one was Longlegs? And who was the chap singing his heart out with absolute passion? Is he one of us? (And if not, why not!)

I was on the TV the beginning, I grabbed Guy's bum, I am not sure what came over me.... Great show! Craig Potter and the radiator scrape, had to be the best line. We didn't get much Jupp action!!
