| For I am a multiinstrumentalist thumper I can only say, my thought of heaven would be a huge music shop where you can try out all instruments without the feeling you have to buy them afterwards... maybe my dream instrument could be a 3/4 violin with frets, a 3/4 bassguitar and a very cheap keyboard which can record noises like a Fairlight CMI (3/4 means, that it is smaller than a normal one: 3/4 against 4/4 beeing the normal) | |

| Ooh! Guitar porn, me favourite! Some cool axes up there Leo, here's my seven: '52 Tele. Beautiful functional workhorse. '54 Les Paul Goldtop. I once played one of these, I didn't want to hand it back! The daddy of all electric guitars. '59 Les Paul Standard. Worth Megabucks! '66 Rickenbacker 360 12 string. Mid 60's jangle heaven, made the year I was born, which only makes me want it more! Martin 000-17 slothead. My next guitar purchase. I love these little 12 fret join Martins. '78 Telecaster Deluxe. Who is that fat bastard? (that's me and my pride and joy, by the way) | |

| WOW! thats cool. I prefer early 60's strats though because they justs seem to have something about them I was tempted to put a Rickenbacker 360 in there, but chose a 620 because I just prefer it somehow. I think you can probably tell that I'm very much a hollowbody man | |

I think you can probably tell that I'm very much a hollowbody man Aye, noticed you like the hollowbodies, those 335's are beautiful instruments. I used to work with a lad who had one just like the one in your picture. Your 60's Strat is way cool as well, have you ever played anything like that? had a go of one in a guitar shop in Newcastle years ago and it was a dream to play, certainly the most comfortable guitar I've ever played, not too heavy, perfectly shaped and balanced, with a neck to die for.... I'm drooling now..... By the way, I'll see if I can find another picture of my guitar as I've noticed that Hotlinking is not allowed from my old band's website.

| ahhh right well. ive played a "60's" strat before... not sure exactly on the year. and i have to agree. a strat will always be the most comfortable guitar ever. and the best ever. as for the es-335. well; thats my dream! played on one identical to the one in the pic, and i fell in love! that is infact the fastest neck ive ever played on. outstanding! - from a hollowbody aswell I play a Burns Marquee in greenburst; like the bloke from supergrass'. Its pretty cool to be fair; but definitely a poor man's strat. still, i love it Talking of trying out gear... I played an old jazzmaster through a fender twin reverb. I literally came all in my pants!!!!! it was the nicest thing since sliced bread cut with only the finest of bread slicing apparatus! | |

| In megalomaniac moments I dream of this one: (http://www.woodviolins.com ) But because I am a lousy violinist I can only afford a used one of this for practising without making the neighbors insane ("Harley Benton" E-Violin new for 130 Euros) And when I play bass I have a cheaper no name version of that one (my one was ca. 500 DM, that's ca. 250 Euro) though my ex-bro-in-law would recommend me some kind of this... (the one and only Warwick Bass...) But he's a semi-professional musician and I am just a multiinstrumentalist thumper with too small hands and too small bank account... And sometimes I dream of THAT one (the famous Fairlight CMI, wot the f... is that? Watch that... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ON8lVgJxMQA ) But I can only afford some stuff like this... But at least I have a very old beautiful "Kripschinski"-piano from art nouveau-times... (got no photo of it and could not find pictures in the web...) | |

| Some great eclectic stuff there TL. And I'm so envious of your art nouveau piano - I'd love something like that. Sadly I haven't got the room for a piano, a little Yamaha keyboard much like your Casio is the best I can do. | |

| Im a tele man, bloody love them, but in an ideal world would like a 335 on the point of buying a Dot with a bigsby but even that has me with a devil on one shoulder saying " go on go on buy it" and an angel on the other saying " is it sensible you already own about six guitars" the balance keeps shifting but the angel is winning at the moment, I bloody love guitars | |

a man after my own heart! My Tele Deluxe is a weirdo mind you, it's more like a Les Paul than a Tele. Double Humbuckers, two volume, two tone controls and it weighs a fucking ton! The headstock is '70's Strat type, basically the only two things Tele like are the body shape and the neck, but even that is chunky for a Tele. They brought out a Mexican version of it a couple of years back and I had a shot on one. Nowt like mine, though I was tempted to buy it just for spare parts!
