The radio adds in Germany are horrible. It seems those blokes think that every radiolistener is half deaf and has a brain like a pea Or why do they shout like they have to drown the noise of a airplane!?
I like those adds that have a quiet dry humor.

I HATE adverts and record everything so I can spool through them. The one that REALLY annoys me is the Special K ads, pariculary the one where she has put "post it" notes all over the house, telling her not to give in to temptation. Who are the kidding!? The model can't be more than a size 6 so why does she need to watch her weight? In fact, a few chip butties might do her some good.

I am a successful weightwatcher and I know how to keep in shape. I don't need f**ing pills to keep off my appetite. And btw...that bugger with the slim down pills in TV looked still fat for anorexic folks


Btw. one of my fave car advertisings was by Toyota. with talking animals. Only available in german.

Oh my god yeah! There's that new one were she stands in front of a shop window thinking "I'm fat.", then returns a second later in the same outfit and is perfect. She's clearly just pulled the belt tighter on her jacket. Oh no I want a chip buttie now

Cat food ads are at least cute. And because every good cat owner knows, that cats don't like noise the ads are also not screamy.
But I remember, when I had that bad bilary cholic some years ago, my bedneighbor watched TV and I was not allowed to eat and I remembered that cartoon by Garfield, where he says:
You know you're on diet when even the dog food ads turn you on!
In that moment I wished, I was a healthy cat with a huge plate of food...meow!
