Seldom Seen Kid at bargain price

For those (hopefully very few) people that don't yet own this amazing album, Play.com have it in their monster sale for under a fiver...

I just picked up 6 copies of it in HMV.
Only a fiver each!

hahahaha i was contemplating doing that, but i don't have any income whatsoever, never mind expendable income

I would say it's a shame they're being flogged off cheap, but (a) I expect the price of CDs to hit rock bottom after the collapse of Woolworths and Zavvi, and (b) I only got into the band after finding LOTFW for six quid in a Tesco bargain bin, so I can't complain really.

I only own The Seldom Seen Kid... ripped the others from friends. :-X What can I say, gotta save the pennies. At least I bought the special edition of TSSK on release and have attended 3 shows.

Ive got all album tracks of Elbow, but no b-sides :/ - which im desperate to get, because theyre great :'(

To be fair, it's rather inconsequential. A cardboard sleeve, a bit of extra artwork... okay, as a fan that sort of thing is worth raving about I guess!

Anyway, all may not be lost as I am planning to see my friend (the one I gave the CD to) in France next month and I may be able to persuade her to swap it for one of the above mentioned six copies...

Oh yes, ALWAYS good to pick up a spare copy especially at that price!

If anyone is still after the digipak version of Seldom Seen Kid, Fopp in London have some, selling at £6.

A dangerous place, Fopp - I walked in for a look around not having been in for ages, and blew 50 quid on cheap CDs...
