Gig reports.. CONTAINS SPOILERS

What's the earliest (as in date) gig anyone is going to?

Be nice to hear reports/ set-lists etc.

I'm going to the Pompey gig on Tuesday. I shall report Wednesday morning with luck.

So there's no one going to Cambridge tonight then? Looking forward to reading your report of Tuesday's Portsmouth gig Hotblack. Am torn as to whether to read the set list though! Don't want to spoil the surprise for myself (assuming they stick to the same/simlar list throughout the tour)??!!

Just got back form cambridge - absolutely blinding gig, great atmosphere - all i'll say is they didn't start with starlings, and played a few new ones off ssk......finished with scattered black & whites.. great, great gig.

Nice one scotochromagen...so it wasn't the whole album? or was it? ahhh...the intrigue....

Have you sneaked a look at the Spolier Hesh?! Will keep my fingers crossed for Gateshead - I'm on the fromt row for that one!!!!

I went last night, 3rd time seeing Elbow this year, and it was fantastic, brilliant set list and Guy was on top form.

Couple of things went wrong, but didn't detract from a great performance!

Looking forward to Roundhouse on Saturday now!

Looking at the setlist, I'm counting the hours hoping that they play the same setlist!

couple of old songs that i'm surprised, and a little dissapointed, not to see on there.
still, definitely looking forward to tomorrow!

Yeah, I'm worse than a little kid sneaking a look at his presents before Christmas when it comes to things like this.

Right. Back from last nights gig at Portsmouth. The set list was a bit different to that from Cambridge and this below is the set as I remember it. It may not be 100% accurate as to running order but all the songs are there in almost the correct order.

A grape gig with some excellent banter although I thought the sound in the venue was a bit off at times. Guy sounded a like he was singing in the toilets at times Other than that it was a belting night. I like the fact the the venue is standing downstairs (there's seating in the balcony) so there was plenty of room to have a good frug near the front ( I was 4 rows back).

It is a good venue acoustically - but the fact that it's seated can mean that it lack's atmosphere. Saw Morrissey there in 2006 - it just seemed too posh for him - and he threw a bit of a strop when he thought the crowd weren't getting into it enough.

Looks like they are mixing things up a bit! Excellent. Though the song that is missing is the song I want to hear!

Mind you, I'll be at both Manchester nights so they'll probably play it.

Am hoping that my spreading the risk and seeing them 3 times I'll get to see them play my list of 5 essentials!!
