It's not so thrilling actually.

My dad had a beagle growing up whom he loved very much. She lived to be around 16 years old and he was very sad when she passed. Her name was Lady, but they all called her Beagle.

So, when we adopted this sweet little beagle girl, she just had to have the name Beagle to honour her auntie Beagle. Or would it be cousin Beagle? Anyway.

My first pet was a rabbit called Lapino, , which I thought was "Rabbit" in Italian...
I know, the mind of an eight-year old is a mysterious thing...

I typed Lapino into google and it gave me pictures of rabbits... maybe you were right!
