In Nottingham the band played nothing from album 1, nothing from album 2, 1 song from album 3, 5 songs from album 4, 3 songs from album 5, 6 songs from album 6. Things haven't changed much in previous tours since TSSK either. There is a gaping hole in that set which for a band that has done 6 albums, in my many years of going to gigs, is very odd. A bit of adjustment and maybe an extra 15 min of playing would solve any problem with the set and make it a proper reflection of the bands work from the start to the present day like 99% of other bands i have seen do. Of course my messages are going to sound negative because of the nature of the subject, i have posted on other topics in the past with no negativity, it just depends on the topic doesn't it and i state in my opening message that i love Elbow's music and have done for many years. There has been overreaction from others here and as far as i am concerned the line had already been drawn, people keep throwing their weight into this debate since it got out of hand and all i am doing as the originator of the thread is responding to them.
